They go HD and launch the video wall in May of 2008, and in late 2010, they figure out the picture isn't as crisp as the green screen? Fail.Yeah, waste of money. They also don't seem to show much exposure to the studio anymore. For example, they rarely show wide shots of the studio anymore, neither do they use the monitor at the big desk, and have cut back to just two studio setups (in July 2008 there were at least five). It also seems more than half the time TWC is broadcasting from the control room or the cheap so-called "digital media center" (
) now rather than the new studio, which makes TWC look even more like they've wasted money on the new hi-tech studio.

GO TEAM COCO!I am curious how well he will do on TBS. I think they have pushed the marketing a bit to far with the Coco thing. It was cool when when it started but now I find it annoying. Perhaps thats just me :/
He'll probably do pretty well. I've never looked at George Lopez's late night show, but from what I've heard his ratings have been good and he's been on there a year already. It doesn't even feel like it's been that long. I wonder how he's going to do now that Conan will have his 11pm timeslot.

« on: November 08, 2010, 06:18:10 AM »I don't think I recall ever having Veteran's Day off before.I used to when I lived in PA, but I think the four day weekends we have here in NJ in early November (due to the NJEA convention) prevents us from having off on Veterans Day.
As for my holiday break, it's from Dec 23rd (half day) through and including Jan 2nd.

There are over 100 songs on the playlist now... this I can live with. In 1999 they had playlists that lasted just as long but had like only 10 songs on it. So we've seen it worse. 
Repeats were also quite common during the Steve Hurst era, so that is nothing new either.
