Rhapsody in White by Barry White, Viva Las Vegas by Johnny Ramone, and that unknown rock song from primetime is also on the morning playlist. Despite a few repeats, this is a great playlist! B)

For Love by Gooding from September 2009 at 11:28 PM. Funny because I was just listening to that song a half hour ago...

Daytime looks great. Great to hear The Wave again. On the Edge fits primetime/overnight rather than daytime since it's quiet. I hope to see some repeats prior 2009 like those two songs.
Both are good daytime songs for winter, IMO. I have clips of both songs from Nov 2007 and Oct 2008.

Sorry for the double post.

Is the IS2 in NYC an actual STAR at the NYC Cablevision headend or just TWC's feed?
It's just a feed coming from TWC, IIRC.

WeatherSTAR Tech Support / Radar issues and concerns
« on: December 02, 2010, 10:08:00 PM »
Hello,

This is most likely a nationwide issue here as I've noticed it with other STARs. On the one minute flavors used at the bottom of the hour and at 7:48 on Your Weather Today, the local radar almost never displays anymore even when there's precipitation in the area. This has been happening for about a month or so now. In addition, I know on the one minute flavors the radars would never display (not even the regional radar) when there wasn't precipitation in the area and only a satellite image was shown, but now the regional radar displays no matter what. This occurance seems to happen on most STARs other than select few, such as the west coast ones. Could both of these be looked into with possible changes? Thanks in advance.

PBS is back up. Apologies for taking so long to get it back up. No data forum wide was lost. Posts counts I believe have also corrected themselves
Thanks for taking care of this. :) I don't even remember what my post count was before so I'll just leave it at that unless someone else remembers what it was. Patrick, do you recall?

Today's weather reminds me very much of December 1, 2006. Mild, wet, and windy. Not sure if we'll get any severe weather today, though.  :hmm:
Yeah, I thought of that day today too. On both 11/30 and 12/1/06 we went up to 71 degrees, then we had a long cold spell after that. Early this afternoon leaving school we had a wind driven heavy rain with winds topping 35 mph, which warranted a severe thunderstorm warning.

In the last few days I have made $80.10 in Christmas tips from my newspaper route.

$25.00
$20.00
$4.10
$6.00
$25.00

More to come in the next 3-4 weeks.
Wow, that's awesome! Sure wish I could make that much...

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Comcast Sucks.

I'm so desperate to switch to Verizon now, but this is what I get. Looks like I'll be having Comcast for quite some time since I live in a subdivision managed by a company and not by the city. I even saw fiber optics being installed on the street outside my subdivision and was hoping that was a sign of it coming here soon.

I am sorry for the delay. I am not showing FiOS being available at the address. At this time we do not have a date when FiOS will be available.

Verizon continues to work to provide FiOS access to as many customers as possible. So, while you may not qualify for services from Verizon today, it is possible that you could be able to receive it in the future as the technologies improve.

There are so many technical issues at the headends that some headends may never get the HD STAR.
What kind of technical issues? Is this why Comcast in Philly doesn't have the HD STAR yet?
