General Discussion / Re: The Pot Belly Stove

Things have really changed since I was in school.  My high school only had three or four TVs for classroom use, and there were none in the cafeteria and common areas.
When I was in elementary school, we had about 10 or 15 TVs/VCRs/Laserdisc units on carts for use throughout the school. They would store them in the library when not in use. Now in my high school we have LCD projectors mounted on the ceiling in every room. :P

That video you attached was in fact recorded with a tuner card and not a camera... although to keep a camera straight there's always a tripod too..

Well, if any of you are big fans of groundhogs or believe that seeing a shadow will make spring come sooner, Groundhog Day is coming up on Wednesday.  Do any of you really follow this observance?
Not at all.

MSNBC at your school? Sheesh.
We have TWC at my school, as well as a few other news channels and the public access channel.

Hi, I don't know if this was intentional or not, but when the product playlists changed early December, the Philadelphia IntelliStar on Fios (ID 27098) received the upgrade, and therefore no longer uses the custom product playlists that Verizon requested a long time ago. The playlists included showing less of the CC and regional screen and more of the 8-cities and metro maps, since this Verizon headend serves a very large area, and also the use of both a moon phase and temperature almanac. Can this be looked into? Thanks.

Local Forecast / Re: Advantages/disadvantages of the Stars

If you want to go technical, the major disadvantages of the 4000 and Junior is that they don't have a harddrive or OS like the XL and IS do (which is why modifying data on the 4000 and Junior is more difficult nowadays).

Those are all FALSE (especially 2+3).

I know this is silly but... just WHY do I have to get all the snow? Frankly, I'm tired of it, and the removal of summer/spring break days... :hammer:

I don't believe in the farmer's almanac. We already had two snow days I don't want anymore that will suck out my spring break

At the end of a King of the Hill episode tonight, "Feels So Good" by Chuck Manigone played (this song was on WUWA in Aug 2009).
