Here in Goldsboro, NC on the over the air channel there was an Accuweather channel for the nation, it lasted from July 2009 to June 25, 2011.
I believe it was either channel 11.2 or 11.3
No idea why they dropped the central NC region.

If your station happened to be an ABC O&O, then that's why, since ABC mandated that all its owned stations remove AccuWeather in favor for Live Well Network in 2011.

Thanks, Evan!  Great quality too.  I was just about to post how I wish we had a video of the EF with the latest graphics, and now we do!   Man, that was a long outage.

There have been videos of them, but not as long as that one.

Anyone here know Tracy Humphrey? Looking at her bio she sure has worked at a lot of local news stations over the years.

I remember her, she worked at our WB affiliate before their in house operations ceased in 2005.

Accuweather has already been launched and is available in some markets, unless you're talking about a new channel.

Does anyone know if the AccuWeather channel is still set to launch this fall? I haven't seen a single news story about it since January during the TWC/DirecTV dispute. There's nothing on their website about it yet, either.

Anyone notice that Some commercials that air on TWC, mostly Walmart's have an echo on them?  Anyone else getting this?

Everything on TWC seems to have an echo. I wonder if TWC purposely did that with their audio system or something? There are some radio stations here that are like that too.

Why would you want to live in the middle of the desert imp?

Because it's got a much better freeway network than Philly and most other cities and it's also a lot easier to land a career in my major out west imp. The heat doesn't bother me much since my opinions about winter had changed imp.
