I meant to post this earlier, but over a month ago, we finally got HD service, and thus, TWC HD. I was a little surprised to find, when I turned to TWC HD, that we had the IS2! :D Not sure how long we've had it, though, seeing as I just got HD service.

I'm impressed by the IS2 so far. B) I'll try to get a video of mine up as soon as I am able to.
Please do! :)

Would anyone want to see the 33% LDL return?
Yes. The small LDL lacks a lot of data that we've benefited from the larger one, especially on the HD star.

Local Forecast / Re: General LF Discussion

It seems like the satellite forecasts now have gotten much too busy for the limited amount of information they contain.  And, considering forecasts these days last no longer than 2 minutes, all of those fancy transitions just eat up time that could be used for showing actual weather information.
I know right! And I thought people wanted things to be more simple, which was why they made the transitions on the Intellistar more basic back in 2007.

The Sat LF looks terrible now. I really liked the borders and the 5 day forecast, but now the transitions look rather dull... :hmm:

Definitely commuter rail! Subways are really smelly especially during the summer.

NYC's or DC's public transit?

General Discussion / Re: Gas prices in your area
« on: July 16, 2011, 12:18:44 AM »
Prices rose briefly to $3.59 here earlier in the week but has since fallen to $3.45 or so.

Chinese inflation and the Europe debt crisis are likely factors in the increase. See: http://www.delcotimes.com/articles/2011/07/12/news/doc4e1bb59fdecec968736016.txt
