After a day or two of dry, windy weather, more snow associated with a fast-moving clipper system is falling in the area.

A fast-moving clipper system is bringing more snow to the area. Currently about an inch or so is on grassy surfaces outside my window. The roads are mainly just wet. The snow should end by midnight tonight, with total accumulations no more than about an inch for the greater Philadelphia area.

I wish we will have a major snowstorm this year. We haven't really had one since the February 2003 storm that brought us 2-3 feet of snow (I actually have pictures of this event, if anyone's interested I can post them).

The weather conditions below are not current. They are from early this afternoon.
Normally I'd post southern New Jersey reports, but since I was at Pennsylvania at the time gathered the data, and that there was a major weather event present, I used a metro map centered on Philadelphia and a forecast for a Bucks County city right outside of Philly. The current conditions come from Philadelphia Northeast Airport.

I think that song is "Cloud-9" by Fred Gross. Awhile back I listened to a clip of this song from the iTunes store and compared it to the song in that video and they both sound like they may be the same song.

« on: December 02, 2007, 02:11:32 PM »Now TWC and the NWS are saying Freezing Rain is falling, but I was just outside, and nothing on the ground was iced over.Same here. I see nothing falling from the sky. Both TWC and NWS are reporting Light Freezing Rain at this hour.
