I'll have to wait for at least 10 minutes until live on-air programming returns, but I have the black bar back.
It has the backup CC site's weather data on it (Westchester County Airport in White Plains instead of
downtown White Plains, the primary site).

The same thing is happening here.

Our 4000 never had any problems like that

I don't recall mine having degradation either. It was replaced in early 1999.

Agreed. I had little problems with the schools I went to when I lived in PA. I thought moving would make my life easier, which did for awhile but not anymore. Now I want to move back, but I'm afraid to tell my mom that b/c then she'll probably just give me an attitude.
