I was hoping the tornado would hit TWC's studios so we'd have another outage, and a glimpse of the old icons!  :P

It's a very mild evening in Pittsburgh, and it will remain that way until early Monday morning. Temperatures will then begin to drop, and rain will change to snow by 9AM. By late afternoon, temperatures will be in the mid 30's.

Is this good? Jess was kind enough to make me a NJ map
Why do the icons in your creations always look distorted?

I looked at the radar just now on TWC, and it looks like everything has died off, as soon as it got here.
I hate it when that happens. It happens a lot here too during the summer.

Local Forecast / Does/did your XL have narration?
« on: February 17, 2008, 05:52:16 PM »
Since some XL's didn't have the narration enabled, I thought I create this topic. Does/did your Weather Star XL have narration? When was it added?

My XL (in Lower Bucks, PA) came into the airwaves in early 1999, replacing the 4000. The narration was added to my XL in the summer of 2000. Then, around May or June 2002, the narration was turned off. My XL remained narration-free until it was replaced by the IntelliStar early in 2004.

Why do they keep showing the WWCH openers? If ratings for that show are high, there's no need to keep showing them.

Minor correction... the heading should say February 12, 2008. It currently says October 8, 2007, which was the LAT48's segment prior to the one this month.
