I always try to go to school even if I am not feeling well. I miss one day, and I end up having at least three hours worth of work to make up. So far I have not had any full day absences this year.

If it weren't for DST, we'd have sunrise here at 4AM during the summer, which is pretty awkward considering that a lot of people are still sleeping during that hour.

why do people do Daylight savings? i think its pointless

It's suppose to cut down on energy usage. With DST, you wouldn't turn the lights on until later at night.

Don't forget to "spring forward" one hour this Sunday, at 2PM, as DST will be taking effect  earlier this year.  :sunglasses:

They have it in the afternoon this year? In the past they'd often make the time change early in the morning.

I know you haven't spent much time here at all. You spend (if your lucky) ten to twenty minutes here each time you log in, and most of the time you visit maybe three or four times in the span of a week.

Plus he has had a long absence of more than a month.

Lately I have not gotten any email notifications from YouTube saying that I have new comments on my videos, when I have indeed been getting those comments. I checked my email settings and the notifications were enabled. Is this occuring for anyone else?

I miss Suburban Cable, a local cable company. They were much better. Lenfest Communications, the company that owned Suburban, was bought out by Comcast in 2000. We have had Comcast since. Lenfest owned many other good local cable companies here, including Garden State Cablevision and the Susquehanna Cable Company.

I still remember seeing the suburban cable logo on TWC's station ID back in the late 90's. Those were the days.

I like some music from this era, but a lot of today's music involve vocalists screaming in the top of their lungs. I hate that type of music.
