There was a pretty bad thunderstorm over my area, so i had to turn off my computer for a while. There was thunder here in Bensalem from a thunderstorm south of us around 11AM this morning. That's the first time I remember hearing thunder in quite awhile (usually we get thunderstorms in the evening). It turned out to be a nice afternoon though, albeit a bit humid.
Well, you're not supposed to use CFLs in the bathroom in the first place. So when incandescents are discontinued, then what do we use to get light?![]()
Sorry, but anything that doesn't produce light now needs to go back to the drawing board. I'm not going to wait five minutes while I have to use the bathroom to get light!Agreed. What I also don't like about fluorescents is that they won't dim (if you use them with one of those dimmers in the wall switches). They also provide a shade of light that I don't like (it's usually more of a bluish then a pure white), and AFAIK they don't make transparent CFL bulbs for the bathroom.
IMO, the best small desktop Mac was the G4 Cube. I have no idea why they stopped making it, though (bad sales, apparently). The Mac Mini replaced it, I guess.Yeah, I liked the design of the Cube too (along with the other computers in that era). It was discontinued in 2001, and then there was no mini computer made by Apple until the Mac Mini came out in 2005.
Does anyone think TWC will bring back the vocal music next May?Vocal Music + TWC =
Coffee is awesome. It's no worse than drinking a can of Coke. In fact, It's probably less harmful to your body than pop.I think I remember hearing somewhere that coffee may be beneficial to your health. I've been drinking coffee almost everyday since I was 14, and it helps keep me going. Though, just recently I started drinking energy drinks and they work even better. I only drink them occasionally, however.![]()
