I did hear rumors at another forum I go to that CN8 and CSN may come to FiOS, but I haven't heard a confirmation yet so that's why I asked here. I hope they make their way to FiOS before we switch to it (when it's available in my area).

After seeing Nick and Vivian on Weather Center for a few days, I think this pairing is actually pretty good. Although Vivian worked better with Jeff, the current WC team is better than what I had originally thought it would be.

I liked the sat graphics from 99-01
Same here, but I also liked the 2002-03 version.

Yep. I'll be going to the tilton 9 theater :D
Oh, the one in Northfield? I've been there several times while on vacation. It's pretty nice.

It's a good list, but the songs in there that I'm familiar with are ones I already have, so I doubt I'll buy this CD.

Isn't there supposed to be another CD called "Best of Regular Jazz" or something like that?

Don't know where this would go, but when I was driving around town, I heard Love's Theme by Love Unlimited Orchestra. Was that a song ever played on TWC?
I hear that song in stores occasionally. I heard it at Wawa (local convenience store) about a year ago.

Does Verizon carry CN8 and Comcast SportsNet, or is they exclusive to Comcast? I watch these two channels occasionally since some of my school's sport events are seen there. I never see them on ESPN.

Yes, Verizon does have a smaller basic cable lineup than some of the other cable companies.

I find it odd how many companies still refer Weatherscan as "Weatherscan Local." That name hasn't been used since 2003. My cable box's lineup says "Weatherscan Local from The Weather Channel."

If they were to implement different backgrounds for different times of day, the best thing they could do is just use the sunrise and sunset times from the Almanac.
Civil twilight would be even better, since it's still somewhat bright out shortly after sunset, and I recall the STAR team saying awhile back that  the icons are based on civil twilight.

Agreed, Billy. That was my favorite version of the IntelliStar.

I don't mind the current look, but they need a nighttime version.

TWN used to be on basic cable up there. A few months ago it was moved to digital only.

TWC's logo is blue.
I've been trying to figure out if the logo was blue or red. Thanks for the clarification!

EE isn't what it used to be though. Now you've got Steele wearing jewelry that could single handedly bring down the whole studio, Cantore got sucked into the whole eye candy by TWC, and well Goodloe is still cool. I liked the days where Cantore was practically a one man circus on that show.
What has changed about Jim Cantore? I don't think he has changed (with the exception of his hair), at least since I started watching TWC in the late 90s.

Carl and Kristina are a better team, but I'd rather see Kristina on evenings. I've always thought she was an evening person, and IIRC she originally worked evenings (with Mike Seidel).
