This is probably the first year that I have not had any full day absences. I did have a few lates due to appointments and such, but most of those lates were excused ones.

When, approximately, did they stop showing the low temperature maps during the Weekly Planner?
I haven't seen it since 2005 or 2006, but I remember them showing the low temperature maps all the time pre-2003.

You get IntelliStar 21897 right? If so, I guess they got the upgrade later seeing how the ID is a higher # than Cape May County's IntelliStar (21876). I do remember seeing the IS in Sea Isle in June and July 2004.

Probably not a road geek, but I do like roads. I like figuring out back ways to get to places and riding along rural roads. There's plenty of those to my south and east.

My XL upgraded to an intellistar in August 2004, on a Saturday.
It was? I remember seeing the IntelliStar down there earlier than that.

I don't recall exactly when my domestic XL was upgraded (it was in early 04), but my Weatherscan XL strangely was also upgraded to the IntelliStar on a Saturday. It was on 9/27/03, the same day my XL started showing the opaque LDL. I noticed it was upgraded in the afternoon, so I don't know how long it took.

I miss Tony Perkins..I don't like Sam Champion...just thought I'd point that out ;)
Yeah, Tony Perkins was a great weather anchor. I remember watching him all the time in 2004.

Yeah, the McChicken is awesome. I did have the Sweet Tea once, it is SWEET. Plus they use those harmful sweetners in it. I guess its a matter of dying healthy or dying happily.
I used to get the McChicken all the time. Now I hardly ever go to McD's. In fact, the last time I ate there was nearly five years ago.

FYE probably won't have it. The ones here don't have a really good selection of jazz music, and they do a horrible job at organizing their shelves. Are there any book stores (like Borders or Barnes & Noble) in your area? If so I'd check there. They have a good variety of jazz music including a lot of songs featured on TWC. B&N is where I purchased the first TWC CD.

Did you try reseting the iPod? This usually helps when I have this problem. I believe you hold either the center & menu or center & play buttons to reset it.

I've seen it happen quite a few times here. A second WB screen causes another segment to be eliminated.

This problem occured when Gil sent me a PM awhile back.

This post
had the problem as well, but it had since been edited (note the edit by line).
