I miss the old episodes of Storm Stories (the only longform I really liked). Anyone know if I can get that, and Atmospheres on DVD?

Atmospheres no, but I've found several DVDs of the Towers version of Storm Stories on Amazon. Search for them there.

The Pittsburgh Verizon FiOS head-end has now added Washington and Gibsonia to Weatherscan. And I thought that Verizon has abandoned Weatherscan altogether.

Verizon has added cities to its Weatherscan's nationwide.

Even the LA one? That one already had a lot of cities as it is, then again the elevations there vary a lot.

I despise Macs (don't hurt me Jonathan )... Windows can handle things just as well. And if you say otherwise, then you are not taking proper care of your computer.

I built my own PC last summer using some of the best hardware out there, and it still cost me several hundreds less than even a MB Air.

Why is music from the "Tron" soundtrack back in the playlist?

"End of the line" played at 1:48pm ET.

I just feel that techno sound does not fit the local forecasts and is very distracting.

I don't mind techno, but it seems Picard really loves Tron  music for some reason.
