And to add to that, my cat was put down last night. She was acting very sickly and disoriented in recent weeks so I knew this was coming. She was pretty old though (at least 17-18) as we've seen her since we moved to Bensalem in 1990. RIP

Yeah it's too early to predict where on the Gulf Coast it will make landfall. It could be in southern Texas or the Florida panhandle.

Whoa, since when has the precip counter shown on the intellistar?

On the "almanac" tab during national segments. If Watsonville doesn't report precip then maybe they can use Monterey, as that is not too far.

Just uploaded on YouTube are 10 IntelliStar clips from my vacation near Belmar, NJ. They are camera clips but are still in excellent quality since they were recorded on a plasma TV. Enjoy

I didn't get to see the NYC stations other than ABC 7. I watched mostly WPVI since we get both the Philly and NYC stations in Monmouth County.

I won't be suprised if they have satellite. Many hotels have been switching to satellite in recent years. The hotel I went to near Belmar, NJ was the first hotel I went to that had cable in years.
