Remember when Your Weather Today would occasionally broadcast from Disney World?
I miss those days.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Forum logs me out automatically
« on: July 27, 2008, 12:39:39 PM »
When I leave this forum and enter into this forum again, I am logged out and I have to enter my username and password again. This has only been happening since Friday. I choose "forever" on the pull-down menu when I log in, so I don't know why it keeps logging me out. I tried clearing my cache too, and that doesn't work.

Your Local Weather / Scranton Area Weather
« on: July 22, 2008, 11:14:51 AM »
I've decided to create another new thread to add to our growing trend of city weather threads. This will cover the Scranton area, one of my newest vacation spots having to visit that area for the first time last month and really enjoyed myself there. In addition to the greater Scranton area, this thread will also cover most of northeast Pennsylvania (such as Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, Scranton, and Mount Pocono), extreme northwest New Jersey (Sussex/Warren counties), and south central New York (such as Monticello and Binghamton).
After seeing humid conditions, we will be seeing relief beginning tonight. A round of heavy thunderstorms will be associated with a cold front, which may bring as much as 1 to 2 inches of rain through late tomorrow. Cooler and less humid weather will follow the storms through the weekend.

In this hangman thread, you don't have to use TWC-related terms like in the other hangman thread.

General Discussion / 50,000 posts!
« on: July 19, 2008, 02:52:32 AM »
I just noticed that we've reached 50,000 posts in this forum, likely earlier yesterday (Friday). IIRC, TWC Classics didn't had nearly this many in about a year's time after it launched.

OCMs & Personalities / Keith Westerlage
« on: July 17, 2008, 10:27:19 AM »
I noticed that Keith's bio has been removed from the personalities page. Has he left TWC? I know he's a supervisor and only appears on-air during emergencies, but his bio has been on the personalities page until recently.

General Discussion / Other TV you watch besides TWC
« on: July 15, 2008, 01:15:08 AM »
Besides TWC (which I'm sure we all like), what other TV shows/channels do you watch?
Food Network - mostly the older shows like Unwrapped, Good Eats, Iron Chef and the daytime kitchen shows
Discovery Channel - I occasionally watch mythbusters and Dirty Jobs, but they got rid of many of the shows I enjoyed watching during my childhood, such as Great Chefs and Your New House with Michael Holigan
Some other shows like Home Improvement, and cartoons from the 60's-90's
