Local Forecast / I found Michael Ripoll's tune

It is retitled "Cat Dog" on his site www.michaelripoll.com . It is instrumental, but it ends with Puerto Rican/Cuban/Spanish style cheering/chanting and vocals, which kills it and makes it sound VERY tacky IMO.  If you listen to the sample You will hear the  vocal part. what I did was buy the single from the site and edit the song at about 4:00, when the vocals start. The Time-In of "Miss Libby/CatDog" is at :15 and I tested it and it checked out. Also compared it against a youtube video that Derek gave me. So by process of elimination, Michael didnt write the "alien song". I think that song, which I suspect is Kim Hansen's "Always There"

Sorry for the long break guys... Stumpa-palooza from looking at everyone's answer. The correct answer was Michigan. The fruit juice was Indian Summer Brand apple juice, made in Traverse City MI.  MI has only one state route above 500 (553, near Sault Ste Marie, in the U.P.)

Local Forecast / Possible lead on Ronald Thornton Valentine

After endlessly searching, once again, on the Internet I found a CD that contains the two songs that may have been written by Ron Thornton Valentine. The two songs "Let Me Hold You" and "Moving In Your Direction" appear on a CD titled "soulmate" by artist Ron Paris. I dont know if its a pseudonym or if RTV wrote the melodies for both songs but the drawback is that both song have stupid a$$ annoying vocals in them

Michael must've updated his site. I am surprised to see his TWC music on there  for buy/download.. his other TWC song from 1999 "Same Attitude" isnt there though. I bought his Instrumental Themes CD in 2006.. which I was suprised that it still was available.. But I think its cool that the mid 90s hard-to-find artists ( Michael, David Reinstein, Physical Therapy ) are now available on download/iTunes. Now Ficara needs to put her stuff online...
