The Game Room / Re: State I .D. game
« on: April 26, 2009, 07:15:09 AM »
Kentucky... was the state we were looking for. The river in question, The Ohio (wouldve given it away) originiated and the two other rivers, The Allegheny and Monongahela in the city of a half a dozen bridges which is Pitt., PA but the famous food was KFC.....and KY owns its section of the Ohio R.

Nope. Lakewood is a subrurb of Cleveland, about 8 or so miles west along Lake Erie.

Superior, WI

Kalispell MT is near Missoula home to the Univ Of Montana. Also not too far from Libby MT, Ceur D'Alene ID and Spokane WA, Which IIRC is home to Eastern Wash. Univ (correction - EWU is in nearby Cheney, WA)

Lakewood, OH

Wow its been  a while since I seen this thread. Well let's re-vive it. The correct answer was Missouri. It has two counties named after two states (Nevada and Texas) and two cities named after two countries (Mexico, on US 54 and Cuba, just of I-44). I believe no one got it right:

Well here is the next one, if anyone wants to give a stab at it

1. This state owns it's section of this river, which begins at two other rivers, among a half a dozen bridges

2. It's very popular nationwide food

also Ive heard "Double Latte" by Steve Glotzer in another TV commercial

I think Michael Rippoll composed the unknown guitar song....and the two straight ahead jazz pieces might be by either Joe Loskota or Ken Gregory
