General Discussion / Re: Your class schedule...
« on: August 25, 2010, 04:06:13 PM »
Having PE early in the morning is the best thing ever. especially when you have it 1st or 2nd. Because you don't have to worry about it later in the day!

General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch
« on: August 25, 2010, 11:17:12 AM »
I get 8 every day, sleeping at 11-11:30 and wake up at 7-7:30 in the morning.
Easy. You have to be a veteran of the valley to withstand these temperatures. I can go on a day with temps in the 100's but not the 110's. I've been living here for 3 years, and I still can't stand the 110's.
I would say today has been incredibly hot. In my first two days back in IVC, I'm glad there were a lot of cooling areas open since the College Center and the Library are always packed. Last year nor the year before they never had that. Tempratures have reached 115 + yesterday and today. Today would be one of the worst, because there have been a lot of ambulances everywhere around campus. We never had an excessive heat warning this summer at all until now.My goodness! How can people live in those kind of temperatures?

108 degrees, sunny. Supposed to reach 113 today and this is the 2nd day that we're under an excessive heat warning.

More like locked. Martin or Patrick will take care of that for you.

Impossible. Jim Cantore can't be fired. If he did, then TWC would never be the same anymore. He's like an icon.
I HIGHLY doubt anyone here would want Jim to be fired. What were you thinking?

Umm, I hate to break this up, but we need to get back on topic.
I understand that TWC is doing "the worst things ever". But I've been told numerous time that IT JUST HAPPENS. TWC did what they had to do. I had a strong feeling that TWC was going to be put up on sale back then... and it did. They were sold by NBCU. Of course, I hate the changes, I hate the stupid longform, I hate Al , I hate to see Steph and Mike on mornings... but you know what? get over it. Don't expect TWC to change back the way they were back in 2008 or so. "cuz that ain't happenin." The only things I'm interested about TWC is: 1. the weather in general, 2. Hurricane/severe weather coverage, 3. Chris Warren, and 4. Eric Fisher.
I hate to rant about this subject (I really do, especially that I'm in school now), but you just gotta have to get it out of the system.

« on: August 22, 2010, 10:12:10 PM »Also, hasn't Comcast bought NBC? I know this is a little offtopic, but I recall back in Decemebr this was making headlines.
Last time I heard, they were still negotiating.

1992 Honda Accord. Used to be my uncle's... then my mom's... and now it's mine; and I'm practicing my driving skillz with it.

IMO, Steph and Mike should be last since they are a lot newer than the rest. They both came to TWC around 2003.

Again, the ratings people were mentioning. Don't expect the show to cancel soon.

« on: August 22, 2010, 04:01:12 PM »sorry to have confused you but that was one comment other twc ppl say it still exists so i dont know myself what to believe
It's better for you to wait. Don't continue to google for answers or wait for some of us to confirm. When a hurricane promotes danger to the US then that'll answer your question.
