Random Question from Nicole that I find somewhat interesting...

Quote
Random question...if you were going to rename our show, what would you call it?

Thanks in advance for not using this as an excuse to blast programming changes I have no control over! :-) ~N

What would you all answer? And no, Overnight Outlook does not count.. because that's my answer. :P Yet, another show back then has the same name.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone have Virgin Mobile?

If you don't want to pay $50 a month, you can pay $2 a day for unlimited service. Or maybe these: $.10 a min/text message, $.35 a day for web, $1 a day for walkie talkie.
Doesn't that cost more than than the monthly plan?

To me, it's a lot more affordable than having to pay a whole bunch every month on a contract. The individual prices I mentioned last are the ones who don't want unlimited service.

My plan: $50 for a month for unlimited calls, text, walkie talkie, and web. $5 more if you want international calling.

It's really worth it. You don't have to worry a thing about service, plus you don't even need a contract!

There are also other prepaid plans too. If you don't want to pay $50 a month, you can pay $2 a day for unlimited service. Or maybe these: $.10 a min/text message, $.35 a day for web, $1 a day for walkie talkie.

I do not have Virgin Mobile. But I heard the service is amazing, but a bit pricey. I do think it's worth it, though.

I like the phones, though...I was considering getting one before but I was a bit of a budget. So I went to BOOST Mobile instead. :P

FIRETRUCK!

Awesome Music Video... Ana would agree!

WHAT THE FIRETRUCK? Yeah, I'll agree. It's a catchy song, and a catchy phrase. I think I'll have the habit of saying it!

<--oh wait, I'll just add it as my personal text.  :bleh:

I was driving home this evening and some  :censored: :censored: pulled in front of me and I had to run into the curb. Lost a hubcap! I ended up taking a walk tonight found it

People are stupid.  I don't trust anyone on the road but myself.  You've got people like the one Martin dealt with, who think it's cool to pull out in front of you.  You got people who don't go the speed limit (which REALLY gets me), people who don't stop at a stopsign.  People who don't go on a green light.  NOT USING A SIGNAL!!! (I hate this), people who stop when turning right on a green light, people who don't yield (they stop at the line) when turning left on green.  Need I go on..

To those who don't drive yet; when you do drive, PLEASE be smart about it.

Good speech! When I actually do get to driving age in 2 years, safety will be my first priority... following the rules of the road. I saw some dumb :censored: yesterday running as many stop signs as possible, almost broadsiding us, and plus, she was going 60 through those stop signs. This was in a neighborhood with a 25 mph speed limit.

Some people can't drive.

I'm still in the process of the whole "getting my license". And here in my area, about 90% of the drivers here do not obey the speed limit, because they just don't give a damn about it. My parents are both among the 90%.  Once I get on the busy roads (lately I've been practicing my driving skillz by driving around the neighborhood lol) then I'll have to go against those lousy drivers on 4th street and Imperial Avenue. Of course, I have someone next to me who's monitoring. I'll have to agree with Kyle K. on that.. don't trust anyone on the road.

Mexicali is worse.. which is why I refuse to drive across the border.

I've always wanted to know how fluent in Spanish you are, Ana. I wish I would've taken four years of Spanish, because it's going to be a language that I might actually use one day.

Oh, and by the way, I thought your current city was "Hotville." I see it's Holtville now, but I thought it was a joke at first. The name suits the place well though.  :P

If you have the chance, go for it. The easiest to learn it is to listen to Spanish music. ;)
lol. It does fit.  I used to call it Hotville before.

you're right. It's two weeks away.. and we're starting to feel it here. (yes, 95 degrees every day is considered "fall" weather in my area. :P)

I need a lot of laptops. My micronation will soon be broadcasting television, so I need computers to relay the video signal... nothing powerful though. Just a few Pentium 3 laptops or something. it's important to keep up with the technology advancement! :P

I do need a new personal laptop though. Something with a powerful video card. Even though I'm a computer nerd, I don't feel like researching  any suggestions?

I usually search on Best Buy.. just because of the price. If you want something powerful in your laptop, go check out Toshiba or Sony. They're reliable. I would also say HP, but I dread their horrible customer support.

I personally thing an iPad would be perfect for school. It's really got everything you need. Plus, lots of schools and colleges are using them now.

I want an iPad too. It can save me a hundred dollars on textbooks. 11 schools in my state are using iPads as a learning tool.
