OCMs & Personalities / Re: Re: Alexandra Steele Let Go
« on: October 10, 2010, 02:34:50 PM »
According to my source, there are two specific OCMs that are being "looked at" but nothing is set in stone. And before you go asking or PMing me on who, I will not tell you who they are, as it's confidential information.

I know you posted this days ago, but now that I think about it, I'm a little concerned about Nicole, although I don't watch TWC that much in the evenings now, I haven't seen her on WC in a long time. I hope my suspicions are wrong and I'm just being paranoid, but considering Alex's firing came out of the blue, I have to wonder if Nicole could receive the same treatment.  :(

She's been out on military duty.

I don't really see anything special about 10/10/10.  It's just a normal day like any other.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

Ms.Wizard with Stephanie Abrams?
They finally premiered that segment?

Are these new, permanent segments to WC (in addition to the Lightning Rod stuff)? :dunno: No offense to Stephanie or any of her fans, but what is the point of this? Is TWC just trying to air her more and more???

Pretty much so... both Mike and Steph are so popular, they've been given their own segments (Mike = "Open Mike")

Well, my phone got a twitter direct message this morning and it said that I got a direct message from Mark, asking me what I thought about the show. I told him that it was great. Then he writes me back that they'll "still be in extended building period" (meaning the show is still yet to be approved). They could really use some suggestions, as I see that they're in their third week of Ranting and Raining.

Although I do enjoy the segments on WC, what about you? What do you think?

General Discussion / Re: Gaming

Great idea, Tyler!

I am a gamer myself (weird because I'm a lady. :P). I own a variety of gaming systems, including the old N64! (yeah, it's in great condition). I have a PSone, PS2, PSP and Xbox 360 Arcade.  I'm looking forward to get a Nintendo DSi very soon.

I'm really into shooter games. Syphon Filter is my favorite series. I'm currently working on getting through Alpha Protocol and Condemed. Sports games (especially football) are also my favorite. And.. not to mention Pokemon games. :P

No, I do not do Xbox LIVE.

I'm guessing that there isn't any severe weather happening in the US. So Dr. Forbes gave my area a TORCON index of 1/10, because of the possibility of "severe weather" in EC. Niiiiice.

It's been raining here since Saturday. Scattered thunderstorms rolled through the area. It caused a couple outages and even put us under some flood warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings. Tuesday's gonna be a repeat... how exciting, I'm gonna miss another week of softball because the field is too wet.

And sure. I'm about to head to 7-Eleven anyways. :P

OCMs & Personalities / Re: New OCM - Crystal Egger
« on: October 02, 2010, 12:56:18 PM »
In it's Wednesday newsletter www.newsblues.com (subscription required) reported that Crystal Egger from KDVR in Denver has been hired as TWC's newest OCM. On the KDVR facebook page http://www.facebook.com/fox31denver they mentioned that today (7/1) was Crystal's last day at the station so I'd imagine we'll see her on TWC fairly soon.

Let me guess, is KDVR an NBC affliate?

Have you even seen the FB page? It clearly said FOX.
