Programming and Graphics / Re: Interactive Trivia on Weather Center
« on: December 13, 2010, 08:52:31 PM »
wait.. they're not doing the Trivia anymore? I LOVED THAT GAME! I played twice, and was hoping to do a 3rd today but couldn't catch the segment just now.

According to Mary, TWC is still looking for something for her to do. Although it's been a long time now.

For those who don't know, you play the game by phone, and Mark will give you a number for you to dial. You WILL see your phone number on TV (don't worry, you'll see it as (760) XXX-1722). Mark will give you three weather-related questions, and you submit your answer by dialing 1=A, 2=B, or 3=C. Each question is worth 100 points.

Like Trevor said, catch the segment at :43 past. Have fun. :)

Well, school has been cancelled over here thanks to an inch and a half of snow. The down side is, this eliminates any chance of a review day for exams, which start tomorrow. Translation: we jump straight into exams with ZERO in-class study time. Glorious.
That sucks. Just study your past material and you will be fine. We never really did many in class reviews at my high school.

We usually do reviews, THEN the exams back in my late high school days. (because our classes were an hour and 30 minutes long lol). Take Martin's advice, Plane, and you'll be just fine. I bet today's a GREAT day to study.

Warren and Ryan are freelancers. It's normal for both to be gone for a very long time.

Today was a perfect day to do the following: give our dog and kitties a bath outside, do some yardwerk, wash our cars, and do some gardening! I swear I'm pretty sure this will be the last time I'll be doing this before we're back to normal again.

I apologize to anyone who is jealous. :P Need I mention that my little sister set up the swimming pool?  :bleh:

Also, I see some of you created some amazing Christmas-themed sigs. I'll make one when I get a chance. Those days at Graphic Design class gave me confidence to do a sig of my own.

Have fun in Colorado, Andy!

The playlist looks bland. Not enough goodies (and not enough Ryan Farish "Spirit" songs either, I was hoping at least 2).

The Christmas list has already started? It is at least a week earlier than I had expected.

Didn't I hear sometime ago that it was gonna start this coming Monday? Or maybe we both misread someone's post? Who knows.. but the regular December 2010 playlist looks short-lived imo.

Anyways, glad to hear the playlist is playing finally.

OK can someone explain why these Glee songs are so popular? Honestly most of the songs sound the same to me.

Because Glee is the most amazing show ever on Television!!!! I will admit I am a die-hard gleek myself! I recently bought their latest Christmas album right after their Christmas special.

lol. I'll calm down now. The most popular songs such as Don't Stop Believin' touched everyone's hearts probably because of their awesome voices.

Currently studying Graphic Design at Imperial Valley College, soon to transfer to Arizona Western College* next year to get my A.A. in Television Production. THEN (maybe) transfer again to Arizona State University to get a BSD in Graphic Design or BS in Communication, whichever's good for me. My dream is to live in Phoenix, AZ!

That, my friend, is my current plan.
