Well, First Outlook starts at 1am on the West Coast.
Thats ridiculously early. Think about Hawaii, they're 5 hours behind!
Your Weather Today starts at 2am there. lol, and First Outlook starts around 11pm the previous night.

And to answer anybodies question, Yes Hawaii does have the weather channel among some customers.

there is no possible time to support show names with the times they play without everyone being affected in some sort of way, yah know?

Hawaii has TWC?? I didn't know that.
And since I live in the west coast, I have seen FO a couple of times...when I stayed up so late until 3 AM at times.

They should at least call the 10pm-12a show "weather center tonight"

cuz i think of weather center being an afternoon show.
...and I think of PM Editon being an afternoon show as well...I'm still confused to why they would put PM Edition in the AM?
PM Edition at 12/1am ET is 9/10pm on the west coast, THUS it's technically still PM Edition  ;) ;)
 hahaha I'm used to the eastern times.

General Discussion / Re: What kind of MP3 player do you use?
« on: February 17, 2009, 09:03:36 PM »
I got a Sansa 512 MB MP3 player during my sophomore year. Then, afterwards I gave that to my sister and got a Ipod nano 2GB...but that sadly broke during senior year., and now I got my PSP for christmas 08 and I kinda use it for playing music and videos. It's pretty awesome.

General Discussion / Re: Digital Transition
« on: February 17, 2009, 08:59:15 PM »
As we all know, today was the originally scheduled day for the digital transition. Even though it no longer is, some stations are still going to cut the analog signal anyway. Which stations in your market are still going ahead with the transition?

In mine, WBFF (Fox 45), WNUV (CW Baltimore, WBFF's sister), and WBOC (CBS, Salisbury)all will be switching tonight. All other stations have adopted the June 12 switchover date.
I have no idea if the TV stations in my area have switched to DTV...been with Satellite forever. Let me check it out.

Today was pretty awesome. Somehow unexpectedly A&B turned into a zoo!!
(Well, kinda) Some of the animals visited the studio (of course, from Sea World Busch Gardens, I know it's not the one in San Diego) They showed Penguins, Chinchillas, an owl, turtles and so many more! It was so awesome that A&B actually let those animals in! (BTW no animals were harmed during the show---Steph :P)

Well, if anything they should split the 2 shows and cancel day planner
go straight from ywt to weather center, then evening edition.
So basically pre-September 2003 :P
EXACTLY. :itsok:

Jeff replied saying that he can't release info until it becomes known to the public....I figured that would be the case. :pinch:

He said however that we'd know soon.

D'oh!  :pinch:

Yeah I didn't even know that slogan was the actual one. I kept on thinking it was Bringing Weather To Life
