Aww Circuit City!!!  :cry3:
I will miss that store. It's where my parents got me this comp on my 17th bday!

<_<  Now there's Best Buy left in my area, so I can shop for my new laptop.

General Discussion / Re: Good Luck Getting A Job In This Economy...

700 people applied for a single janitor job at an OH high school. $16hr and benefits doesn't sound bad though!
http://www.cantonrep.com/news/x1569321039/Stark-s-hottest-job-Janitor

I would get a job with those benefits and the pay is excellent. But I would never be a janitor. LOL.

But in terms of serious, I don't think with this economy I would never return to my old job, as a secretary's aide nor would rather find a new one. I'd go to it and the next day I'm laid off. I don't want that to happen.

Today was the worst day of my life.
why?
Several unforeseen, unwanted, and cursed events happened to me in school today.

I feel better now.
Well, that's good to hear that you're feeling better, Localonthe8s. It's better to leave those behind than letting them follow you to the present. :)

I like external hard drives and USB drives better than floppy disks or zip drives.

USB Drives ROCK! They are so easier than floppy disks.

I read this thread about her and it said it was unofficial. But now I know that she had been in a car accident. That's so sad that she has to live with so many fears and a permanent injury. I did admire Jeanetta, before I moved around 2006 I wondered whatever happened to her and now I know.  :(

Yeah, I'm changing my guess a little. I'm going for 5.5 too.  :noexpression:

TWC better not **** with this pairing - I really like it!

I LOVE WEEKEND WEATHER CENT,ER! (That's what this show is called, right?) ;) This is awesome. Bill Kneeley rocks and he rocks late at night...not confined to fluffy day planner. He is smart, artlculate, personable, and insightful which is so appreciated and becoming rarer (I'm looking at you, Sam Mohr).
Do we know if Mike Seidel will join him every weekend? That's the only way this could better. Even if he doesn't I'll still be happy. Having an actual live broadcast later at night is so refreshing; especially since this is when I'd watch the most.

Of course it's called Weekend Weather Center (well my guide calls it Weather Center but screw my guide). Mike and Bill are doing just fine in my opinion. It has been a long time since I've seen Bill.

General Discussion / Re: Daylight Savings Time!
« on: March 08, 2009, 09:10:20 PM »
...that's a normal occurence in Alaska. In the summers, polar regions like Norway, Russia, Sweden, Iceland, etc.. get sunlight at 12am. In fact, it's never dark there during that time. In the winter, it's the opposite, it's dark most of the time.

I would love to see that someday, sunlight at 12 AM? Would I be able to sleep?  :bleh:

Was the "Dont make me be your teacher" thingy dirrected towards me? :dunno:

No, not at all. I was just playing around. I'm always like that with my cousins.

But, if you or anyone needed help with Spanish, I'd be happy to help.

Hi everyone. :)
How are you? B)
How you been? :)

I don't trust translators at all. I can translate from Spanish-English (and vice versa) on my own. I don't need help.
Y así puede. ¿Lo digo? Me gusta el queso. Creo que las tormentas son diversión que. Me encanta los tornados.

All of that is true :smoke2:
Bastardized translation:
And can. What say? I like cheese. I think that storms are fun. I love tornadoes.

You got 99.99% of that translation wrong. Here's my point of view.

And I could. May I say? I like cheese. I think that storms are fun. I love tornadoes

Please don't make me be your spanish teacher because I barely passed Spanish 2 in high school. (I do speak it. and I am very good at translations.)

Hi everyone. :)

  hi.
