Why? I buy and sell on Craigslist all the time. Awesome tool for getting rid of older electronics and video games.

Because I've had friends tell me they bought something from there and they got scammed. And since in the past two months that I've been watching too much Court TV shows, 99% of the cases are about buying stuff on Craigslist. 

I made a comeback to eBay and sold my books there (even the old ones that I was never able to sell). It's a lot safer there tbh.

 

Sorry for double-posting but...

Are any of you getting that stupid virus that says "Warning! Your computer is at risk of malicious viruses, blah blah" and then starts a scan that's really a virus when you visit ImageShack.com? It's been happening to me EVERY single time I go to their website, so I guess I won't be using ImageShack to upload my photos anymore.

You need to be careful. It's a scam that wants you to think you have a virus. I've been there before. Try Photobucket.

It's a 1 (I think 2) hour block of long-form "madness". They air episodes of Weather Caught On Camera and other shows that I've never heard of before. xD

How about this: The TWCT logo being darkish blue or green (both would be fine as well), with the words "Primed for Excitement (tm)" on the bottom.

Don't ask me for a sample yet. This was something I was able to sketch on my drawing pad.

Off topic but I just want to comment on how stupid some people are...

I bought a PowerMac G5 off craigslist, I booted it up and the fans always run at full speed because the plastic air deflector was taken out and never put back in by the previous owner. Upon inspection apparently they got annoyed with the noise and unplugged all the fans they could instead of figuring out what was wrong and why there is a bright red light lit on the mobo (or I guess Logic Board because Apple has to be different).

Another one... a friend of mine was given a computer to fix because it wouldn't boot. He took the memory out and noticed that someone had bought the wrong memory (I believe DDR2 instead of DDR1) and decided that since they wouldn't fit they should file down the memory stick to make it fit because... that is the only logical thing to do.

NEVER. EVER. EVER. Buy anything on Craigslist. Never.
