I get a lot of that too. A lot of people rely on me at school for the weather. It is kind of nice, although I find it embarrassing for EVERYONE to know I am so into weather.......

Yeah same here, ever since 8th grade I got the nickname "weathergirl" because I always tell my friends what the weather would be for the next day. I guess I might use that nickname again. But, that is one reason why I got the name "Anistorm"!

My sister's baseball coach just named me the team meteorologist for my lil sister's team, the lil GIANTS. She called me on my cellphone yesterday about the game weather and yesterday wasn't that shabby. Today became a different story when A&B was on, and a huge windstorm came in Duck Centro. So, I guess the coach called me an hour ago and wanted me to see if the winds were high enough to cancel tonight's game. I told her that winds have been gusting to 30 mph.  The game is cancelled today until after the Duck Centro Spring Break. I was like "woah. I'm gonna be providing the weather for our team? That is cool."

Due to the severe weather in the south, Steph will be live from Atlanta. Mike might come back from the conference or there might be a fill in. We'll find out in 15 min.

No, I HATE Mexician foods.

And, today my last day of school in this week. 4 days off. I go back on next Tuesday.

Today is my last day too. After that, I go on Spring Break. Man...no more 11 o clock curfews for a week!

I would LOVE to have an 11 o'clock curfew but can't for 2 reasons
1. Nazi Perents
2. I'm in Middle School

Fair enough. My parents let me be out all night if I wanted to, but I have to keep my grades up and stay out of trouble.

My parents wouldn't let me stay out past 11 because they cared (until I turned 18) and I <3 them for it

It's only for a week though...or until my surgery comes, that's when I have to get a lot of sleep. And besides, even when I am 18, I still have two curfews (Sunday-Wednesday I can stay up until 11.) And when I am in trouble, I have a midnight curfew in the weekends. (Yes, my mom still thinks I am a teenager so she can ground me whenever. >_>) Duck Centro is very tranquile and there's nothing to do out there so why bother going out to party? >_>. Right now I am NOT in trouble, and I can stay up whenever, now that I am in Spring Break.

I know it miiiiiight sound a little dumb, but I need an opinion. I'm thinking of switching my email inbox from yahoo to either AOL or Gmail. Which one of those can I choose? I gotten 2 opinions already though. 
BTW, no offense to whoever uses Yahoo mail, but I really don't like it.

AOL is soo 1990's... go with GMail.

I don't need curfews because I'm not that kind of person who goes out on late night parties like the average teenager.

I'm still working on the Gmail account...but I just realized that all is so confusing! No worries, I'm still learning the controls.

so today i received an acceptance letter from Sul Ross State University, not particularly my number 1 college choice, but it definitely caught my attention -- so i applied, and got accepted.

i've applied to a total of 8 colleges, 2 in which I was rejected from (Austin College - Sherman, TX | TCU - Ft. Worth), but I knew i was pressing my luck with both of those colleges, but it didn't hurt to try. haha. my admission status at Tarleton State is currently pending, though there is a chance i'll be admitted.

just a college update =] as the school year continues to rap up. wahoo seniors '09

journalism, with a minor in criminal justice (or something similar)

Journalism is awesome. In my early high school years I was part of the school newspaper. That gave me a boost on my interest in journalism (and also meteorology). I wish you the best of luck in your future!
