I got my acceptence letter from a community college (no surprise )  So, I'll be going there.  I will hopefully not have to pay full tuition, because I have had two scholarship interviews worth some money, it is still pending if I get them though.  In 2011, I'll be transfering to a state University. 

If I were in the top 10% of my class, I could go to this community college for free, but I am not 

Good luck Kyle, I'm already in a community college for free because my mom work's in the Dental hygiene clinic at the school.

Same here. My first year is coming to an end. I do have plans to transfer to a university as well. By the end of Fall Semester 2009, I have to choose which college I am going to transfer to, and go see a transfer counselor to see which courses I have to take. CSU San Bernardino is my first choice, but on second thought, I am also thinking of going out of state.

Guys, awesome news. I went to the eye doctors today to take my final eye test, and it all turned out a-okay! I passed all my tests, and my eye doctor has finally scheduled my surgery around the first two weeks of May. I have to do it on a Friday so I am assuming May 8th or 15th (because I have every Friday off). There's a waiting list right now but my doctor says that by May 15 I will be glasses free. I am excited but nervous, but I don't have to because my BF has done it before and I take every word from him.

Wow. My aunt just passed away 10 minutes ago.

my cousins great-grandma (aunt's mom) died at 3AM today

Oh my God. I am so sorry to hear this, Gil and Evan. I hope everything is okay. My condolences go out to both of you two. *hugs 2 you both*

so, just received another college acceptance letter, angelo state -- it's suppose to be a great school, so awesome =]. i also got a sul ross state "acceptance" t-shirt in the mail too, haha.

i still can't believe it's practically over. 

Al, it will be over a lot faster than you think.
Since you got two acceptances from two colleges, it's gonna be hard to decide which is the one. My recommendation is that you must compare those schools very carefully. You're almost on your way!

Today, April 16, 2009, is One Day With No Shoes Day. I googled this and it's a day to raise awareness of shoeless children who could not afford to get a pair of shoes to protect their feet. Children in developing countries are at risk whenever they do chores, play etc. So, in order to raise awareness, walk barefooted anywhere, to you room, in your house, to your mailbox. Stay barefooted as long as you can, or all day.

I'm back in the WTF mood again. I don't want to be a music critic nor want to offend any fans, but, I just saw the new Britney Spears video of the song "If U Seek Amy". I hated it. I was like "What The F" at the ending. It was so stupid.
