General Discussion / Re: A Bunch of B.S.?

This is soooo BS. You need to stop believing in this stuff. I've been through a strong quake last year and I'm hoping I won't be going through another again. It literally scares the hell out of me. And I can bet EC residents are going to close businesses just because they heard about this earthquake theory (trust me, they don't take any joke about it). So whatever this "expert" is saying is wrong. Get real.

Martin, if you haven't done so, when you take a nap or go to sleep at night, throw on some sweats, get under the covers and sweat that bad boy out. You WILL feel the difference. (Do take your medicine before you hit the sack).

But won't that lead to dehydration or perhaps even increasing your temperature to dangerous level though if you do that for a long while?  I've never heard about sweating out a flu before, so it seems like a myth.  I've always been told lots of water, lots of rest, vitamin C, chicken noodle soup, and medication are what you need.  You only need a blanket to keep yourself comfortable from the chills when your temperature is elevated.

I'm pretty sure Spring finally came here in San Diego, because I've been enjoying the weather like crazy! I hate the indoors now. :D
I'm having spring fever, I can't stand to be inside all day for school with the great weather.

Ah, yeah. Spring Fever. That's pretty much what I have right now. xD

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Betty Davis - Departure
« on: March 16, 2011, 05:32:11 PM »
Betty Davis is the reason I watched TWC. Now that she is gone I don't watch so much. Did Vivian Brown drive her away because she is jelous of her?  I hate Vivian Brown's nasal tone and turn the channel as soon as I hear her voice. TWC made a big mistake letting Betty Davis go.

Why would Vivian "drive" her away. That was not the reason. If you read the whole thread you would know that she was terminated by contract issues.

This is the first time in my life that I've actually been under a Tsunami Warning (being a new resident in the San Diego area). The warning lasted several hours during the nighttime, until then it became more of an advisory. Schools didn't cancel or anything here in SD, everything went as if today was a normal, boring day. The LA area and above got most of the damage than any other part of the west coast, especially Crescent City, which is the hardest hit. I was a bit concerned that I'd be seeing some waves coming ashore, since I live near the coast, but nothing happened. As far as I know, no damage have been reported here in the San Diego area.

On a related note. I knew about the earthquake before those "bozo" news networks went on the air to break the news about it. I knew that the cities of Sendai and Tokyo would be extensively damaged by the 8.9 quake, but I never thought that this would trigger a massive tsunami. Reminds me of the 2004 Tsunami in Indonesia. I also never thought that the tsunami would actually impact the whole Pacific Ocean. It's amazing what natural disasters can do.

EDIT: I think the title should be 8.9 quake in Japan/Pacific Tsunami. We're basically talking about both the tsunami in the pacific AND the earthquake in Japan.

Hopefully soon he's gonna end up shutting himself up. >_>

Bought a couple of groceries at that one store down the street. Since it's Ash Wednesday today, I bought fish. xD

This is the same with Blogger. If you want to create a blog with them, you are forced to create a Google Account. Which kinda sucks, though.

In terms of YT, I have no problems about them at all.

Just got back from Sea World Orlando. It was amazing

Sea World in general is amazing. I'm glad I live next to Shamu! ^_^

Don't forget, everyone... Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday at 2am.
The forum time should take care of everything by itself as long as everyone has their profiles correctly aligned to their correct time zone right now.

* Meganium90 is still keeping hers in EST. >_>

This is pretty much why I refuse to watch WUWA. All I want is my weather, my current time, and maaaaaaybe  a little national news if they want to sprinkle it on top. I do not want to watch a weather show that has two OCMs and a crappy weatherman ruin my morning because all they want to do is make a fool out of themselves.

Well, I just moved in to my new place last night. I can tell you that I am loving it. Everything is so close (stores, shopping centers, school, etc) comparing to EC. Though I have to go back AGAIN this weekend to EC because my mom has a birthday on the 12th. So, I can't miss it. :)

As a small few of you may know already, I will be recieving a "gift" if you will sometime next week. I am sending in a payment. That is all I am saying for now.

It is going to be an XLent experience recieveing it.

BTW, yes it has been finalized. The seller has given me a purchase order, and they said it is packed up and ready for shipping.

 :)

I don't get it.

Upon arriving to EC, Most of the gas prices here are already $4-$4.10 for Unleaded! I guess it's a bit better to go to SD for gas then. :P

I have COX in San Diego. I really wish they added Current TV to their lineup. That's pretty much it.
