They drove back to Kansas today to see if there's a possible chance for severe weather, but it all turned out to be a bust. Poor Mike and the crew, having to drive to South Dakota and all the way back south to Kansas.

Think I just had the longest skype call ever with my pair. 3 hours, 43 minutes. We were going to go for 4, but we were too tired. xD

You can't delete a topic. You'll have to PM an administrator so they can do that for you. Make sure you link the topic to them.

I forgot to ask my mom (because I called her) today if she switched to cable. She was planning to when I was at EC that one weekend. She and my dad are so sick and tired of paying $200 a month for direcTV, and that's just WITHOUT the stupid Sports Pack since they got rid of it when I moved out.

Mike mentioned before that he won't be streaming live during chasing days, but he will be posting Twitter videos, though...which gives you a glimpse of what he and his crew are doing. Here's an example:

He's heading to South Dakota today.

You both beat me to it. xD

Anyways, about time they have new L3rds. I think these new ones look pretty, especially when they're centered. That's a huge plus.

Ohhh, so that's why I haven't been seeing him on DP these days. Congrats to him. I think he definitely deserved it! :D

Um..... O___o so yeah. :P

I didn't pass my MCE. I was 49 points away from passing. >____<

Plus I was supposed to be back and active since I have internet in my apartment now, but my modem's not here yet. I miss being here! :(

lame title is lame, plus I'm bored in class so yeah xD

I just had a brief convo with @TWCMarkElliot, and I'm not sure if any of you know this already. But it looks like Mike Bettes is going out to the midwest and look for tornados. He'll be starting out on Monday with live weather briefings on weather.com/tornadohunt. At first I thought Vortex2 is at it again, but it turns out that it's all TWC.  :hmm: Guess it's Vortex2, TWC style.

Mike's TornadoHunt twitter account is active now. So be sure to follow @TORNADOHUNT.

May 5th, 2011 will be a pretty important day for me. I will be taking my Microsoft Certification Exam in Kearny Mesa, CA. I've been studying like crazy for this, and I hope with the experience I have with Windows 7, along with the current classes I'm taking will help me pass.

Awesome, good luck! What certs are you testing for? I got my MCP and MCDST back in '05 but haven't done anything since. I'm going to be working on that this summer, upgrading my MCDST (which is for XP) to MCITP in Windows 7 and working on the server OS, SQL, and Exchange certs.

I'm currently working on my MCITP for Windows 7 as well, since it's the operating system that I am more comfortable with than all the others. I'm thinking of getting another certification in XP, but I don't really see a point in that since XP is going to be obsolete in the future anyways. xD

Of course. Next year they'll be 30. I'm pretty sure they're gonna party big time, probably bigger than what they did when they celebrated their 25 years.

* Meganium90 seriously needs to come here often. >_>

I just noticed that the guidelines are gone as well. Are the rules being rewritten or something?
