I know this is random, but I finally got my first heat advisory of the season. It's about time. However, it was extremely difficult to mow the lawn earlier, and I am hopefully about to play tennis in a few minutes here.

Wanted to let everyone know that August is a tough month for me and I might not be as enthusiastic or around as much. I do apologize. If you contact me and I dont respond, Im not ignoring you. More than likely i havent check my IM/Messages. Please send me another message. Thank you for understanding

That's definetely understandable, Martin. :) I think August is a busy month for almost everyone...with the start of school just around the corner and other big events underway, it's a wonder how we will have to time to even access the internet.

Yeah...and I'm entering a crucial part of my softball season. And my sophomore year in college is around the corner (August 24). I'm also taking a small vacation next weekend and it's not possible that I will take my laptop with me (I will take PSP) (and will explain this as the days come).

Martin, I understand. You take your time. :)

Hurricane Central / Re: Hurricane Central 2009

So a hurricane/tropical storm can form a single tropical "wave"? I'm a little lost as to how a wave can cause such a big system.

I believe this has happened once before (correct me if I am wrong). in 2003 there was a wave in the Gulf of Mexico, with waters so warm, it gathered strength to form into Tropical Storm Erika. It had skipped depression status...which surprised me alot.

uhoh Ana will be in for some excitement :P

Of course!

So today is Adam (my BF)'s birthday. He has been flooding my facebook and my cellphone with 6 calls telling me what I got for him. I sent his present by mail, which it's not guaranteed it would come today...maybe by Monday. I wish I was there for him on his bday as well, but unfortunately I couldnt :(.

Also, has anyone ever heard of or been to Fazoli's Italian Fast Food Restaurant? I went there the other day and thought it was . The breadsticks were actually pretty good, but the main meal and was horrible. :footinmouth: IMO, Italian food shouldn't be fast food.

I've only been there once. I love their breadsticks. The only one near me is in San Bernardino. :(

We don't have either of them here, but according to my BF, he says Hooters is the best.

Anyways, since this thread is back up (and I know nothing about it) Let me say my favorite restaurants.

 I LOVE Carl's Jr! Gotta love their chicken sandwiches and fries. Also their Western Bacon Cheeseburger..mmmm
 I also love going to Olive Garden during special events (graduation, birthdays, etc) I love their italian food.
 B) At my hometown (San Bernardino/Colton), there's a pizza place called "Robin Hood's Pizza". They serve the BEST pizza in the whole county! Also their chicken wings FTW!

 The only restaurant I hate is McDonalds. All I can say is  :footinmouth:

Well, I went to my school's Back to School Bash, IT WAS A DISASTER!!! They had 300-400 people in the gym which only has 12 rows of bleacher mes total, people were blocking the exits. My dad's sugar was dropping so we couldn't stay long, He got me right as I was talking to my friends. They had shirts for $15 and you had to get a shirt to get anything like food or drink. and all the halls were clogged! It was a wreck, i've seen spontaneous riots more organized than that.
Wouldn't it be better to do this in an outdoor stadium or large football field? That way, there are no fire hazard and it would probably be more organized.

That's worse than packing the whole freshman class in a small auditorium. When I was a freshman in high school, we watched a movie in there, and like about 30 people had to sit on the floor or stand because there was no room.
