I did a google search on him, and all the results that come out say that he still works for TWC. This kinda alarms me a bit since it's been a few months since he was laid off.

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Carl Parker Now Dr. Forbes' Right Hand Man
« on: June 04, 2011, 04:36:26 PM »
If this is the case, why hasn't Forbes taken a much needed vacation? I'm concerned that man is gonna land himself in the hospital. He hasn't had a day off since February.
He has something called a contract, which spells out when he needs to be on air, and when he can take his vacation.

Tyler is right. He's always needed because of the recent severe weather outbreaks, and he may be needed a lot more because of hurricane season and stuff. When will he have a day off? no one knows.

Well, if you were going to go there, they let Eboni Deon go

Dude, that news was so 2009.

Storm Stories, Twist of Fate, Weather Caught on Camera, and Storm Riders aren't bad programs and very much weather related. Garbage like Epic Conditions, Weather Ventures, and Peter Lik(which sucks :D) are things that belong on Travel Channel. NBC is part owner of that channel and should move those dookie stains over there

I see your point there. But my main concern is that they show those programs too much, and especially during hours that weather coverage is really necessary.

Did I just read that right? Country Music awards?

* Anistorm takes off eyeballs
* Anistorm washes them in bathroom sink
* Anistorm puts eyeballs back on

I did read that right. But...don't they have weather to cover this weekend other than THAT?

Which is why I was posting this at midnight ET. xD

ANYWAYS, If you're wondering what the show is like. They'll re-air last night's episode at 8 pm ET on Friday.

Not sure if this is a new show or not, but this primetime show debuted on TWC today, called Twist of Fate. It's similar to the famous Storm Stories, only that this show focuses more on extreme-extreme weather stories. Today's episode is about two commuters in Chicago stranded in a blizzard and have 18 hours to get out or they may suffer hypothermia.

Oh, for once I thought they were playing a song from her Born This Way album such as "Born This Way" or "Edge of Glory". lol :P I'm surprised they're still playing "Alejandro" on their LOT8s.

Sorry for the double post...

Stephanie was giving a Florida forecast when she said "These temperatures will give you an excuse to eat those sugary frozen treats at theme parks, and then you can attempt to hold it down while on a ride. I had one experience where....you know what, never mind. Jen?"

I can't remember what she said word-for-word, but it was something like that. I thought that was funny :P

It was probably too much information to say on the air. As I kinda know what she's trying to say. xD

I need to call an exterminator myself. I found two black widow spiders in my bathroom yesterday, and a few cockroaches in the laundry room. No fire ants though, compared to the bazillion of them I found in my EC room last weekend.

I managed to escape EC's hot, howling windy weather today. So my Memorial Day was all about getting back home.

I heard Nikons are pretty good cameras. If you can, you should definietly go for that one. A Sony camera is good as well, but some exceed your preferred price range.

Just make sure you stay away from Kodaks, though. My sister has one and it's not all that good in terms of hardware.
