So Halloween is right around the corner...who's doing something for Halloween?

Besides LAT48s, I am going down south for a mini family reunion, then I'm taking my niece and little cousins for trick-or-treating. I'm going to dress up as a witch, but I am considering changing my costume since I've been a witch for 4 years straight. I may buy an "instant kitty costume" that contains a tail, ears, and bell. So I can be a kitty instead of a boring witch, and that I dont have to scare my niece who will be Tinkerbell.

OMG!!!! Today is the best day ever. When coming home from school, I got a Twitter direct message from the chief meteorologist from KSWT (my local CBS affiliate). She saw the two pictures I sent via twitpic about the windy day yesterday and wanted to show them ON AIR!!! I totally said yes, and sent those two pictures, plus 3 more via email. Then my friends call me and say "Yo, Ana! Are those your pictures on TV?" Yah!  They just came on, and the meteorologist was impressed of the amount of sand being blown here in Duck Centro.

Do you have an acceptance speech ready if you win the election to become the governor of Virginia, Mike?

Mmmmmm Chili, at work we're having the 9th annual chili cook-off tomorrow. Everybody makes a pot to bring in and then we vote on who's the best.

I wouldn't mind joining that cook-off as I've been fighting a sinus cold today and could use something to clear myself up.

My mom had to deal with fall allergies due to the winds that been blowing around.. get well soon Patrick

Today was a cool and damp day for me, which made the dinner decision easy for me and my family:  several hot bowls of chili.   What do you all like to eat on cool and damp days during autumn and winter?

If it's rainy and cold, I gotta have a cup of hot cocoa. Also during dinner time, I love eating chicken soup with vegetables. Yummy...

Besides the lower third being an obvious mockup (4:3 safe surprisingly, APOCALYPSE! ), did they ever use that bar that says TRACK THAT STORM? Ever? I've never seen one on air, but apparently one exists....
