I am a fan of Chris Warren.  He reminds me of Adam Berg for some reason.

He and Danielle Banks would make a great team on a show (I am pretty sure they worked together on Halloween?)

Totally agree with you! He and Danielle are an awesome pair!

So, what was with the lower third they showed at the end of last week's show?

I assumed it was a lie...

Did anyone see Adam Berg drop his remote a little while ago? HILARIOUS!   :rofl2:

He did? Must have pulled a Stephanie there. :P

Since I will be done with the semester I may be able to create one.

That sounds like a long time to have the logo up. Why not start it around the middle of the month (like the 14th) when TWC starts acknowledging the holidays?

I agree with Springy, around the 2nd week of December would be perfect since the Holiday Spirit seems to grow.

"The Weather Channel Radio Network: Thanks for asking Martin! Ray will still be on the network, primarily used during Sunrise Weather or Weekend View which airs from 5am to 7am EST. Of course you can also see him some weekday mornings on the Radio Cam and hear him on radio stations across the country."

Who knows if he's still with the network. If he comes back on SW Tomorrow...then that l3rd lied...
...and I will say that I went a bit overboard.  :noexpression:

General Discussion / Re: The Pot Belly Stove
« on: November 14, 2009, 12:52:48 AM »
Tonight we just had the 66th annual Bell Game. The Brawley High Wildcats (where I graduated high school) and the Central High Spartans are huge archrivals and they fight for the 66-year-old bell. Brawley won more Bell Games than Central. Tonight, Central gets to keep the bell for the 2nd year straight.  :cry3:

When listening to the radio broadcast, I am disappointed at Brawley's performance. They went for the two-point conversion 3 times and failed all 3 times. I guaranteed if they went for the extra point they would have won.

Now I can imagine El Centro becoming the true "Spartanville", Victory Parade to be scheduled right after school gets out at Central High on Monday.  <_<

I have to agree as well. First time I'm hearing that TWC is going all long form on Thanksgiving.

So is everyone seeing the movie? :dunno: Like Patrick said, it is stupid to have some see a movie and some see weather coverage. Drop the movies, TWC! Even my dad wonders if TWC covers current weather anymore.

According to Jesskitty, he got the coverage at 8:30 PM. It seems like during the half hour, they were actually broadcasting to NOBODY. They had a simple technical difficulty.

It looks like no one here afaik got the WC coverage (as they promised). This sounds like a fail.

The Weather Channel will preempt its Friday night movie in NY, NJ, CT and PA. http://bit.ly/2B23dZ

I'm not surprised they would do that, it makes sense, this Nor'Easter is more important than seeing "Misery" which you can see on practically any movie channel you wanted to anyway. (lol looks like a Facebook member isn't happy with NBC being over management of TWC either.  :P)

I'd rather watch the coverage than the movie anyways...
