Ugh, what a horrific game for the Gators. I was hoping they would beat Alabama so they can go to Pasadena (which is 3 hours from my area) for the championship! ugh!! we were so close, but oh well, they did had their potential.  :itsok:

They're calling for rain here in my area on Monday-Wednesday... not that much, but my hometown will get a lot more than I will.

san angelo picked up 2 inches of snow this morning, it was awesome!   B)

I never seen this happen before. I usually see either the LOT8s logo or the WUWA logo. That is weird indeed.

Weather Center with Paul & Nicole:  Paul is sick again, which makes me sad, bcs we have conflicting days-off the rest of this month, & won't work together until 2010!

December 3

Special Weather Statement issued for our area...

Quote
Issued by The National Weather Service
Phoenix, AZ
4:37 am PST, Thu., Dec. 3, 2009

... VERY COLD AND DRY CONDITIONS FRIDAY NIGHT WITH A CHANGE TO MUCH WETTER WEATHER EARLY NEXT WEEK...

A WEATHER DISTURBANCE AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT MOVING SOUTH THROUGH THE ROCKIES WILL USHER IN COOLER AND MUCH DRIER AIR TO THE REGION TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. ON FRIDAY NIGHT... THE COMBINATION OF VERY DRY AND COOLER AIR ALONG WITH LIGHT WIND WILL CAUSE TEMPERATURES TO LOWER INTO THE 30S... OR EVEN BELOW FREEZING... OVER MUCH OF THE ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA DESERT. SOME FORECAST LOW TEMPERATURES FOR SATURDAY MORNING INCLUDE 37 AT PHOENIX... 32 AT IMPERIAL... 31 AT GILA BEND... AND 29 AT BOTH CASA GRANDE AND BLYTHE.

AT THIS TIME... FORECAST LOW TEMPERATURES WILL FALL SLIGHTLY SHORT OF FREEZE WARNING CRITERIA. HOWEVER... CONDITIONS WILL BE BORDERLINE AND DESERT DWELLERS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD A FREEZE WARNING EVENTUALLY BE NEEDED.

THE VERY DRY AIRMASS WILL SOON BE REPLACED BY A MUCH MORE HUMID ONE... AS A LARGE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST BEGINS TO SPREAD SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE INTO THE AREA LATER THIS WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTHEAST AND ACROSS ARIZONA MONDAY INTO TUESDAY... PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS OVER THE LOWER DESERT... AND NUMEROUS SHOWERS OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN EAST OF PHOENIX. AT THIS TIME THE BEST CHANCES FOR RAIN APPEAR TO BE MONDAY NIGHT... AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX.

UNSETTLED CONDITIONS APPEAR LIKELY THROUGH THE LATTER PART OF NEXT WEEK... AND HIGH TEMPERATURES SHOULD STAY BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS DURING THAT TIME.

STAY UP-TO-DATE ON THE LATEST FORECASTS BY LISTENING TO WEATHER RADIO ON THE PUBLIC SERVICE BAND. MORE DETAILED INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX

We can expect a super cold Friday ahead...

Today was a cold start...with a temperature of 40 degrees.
Today is expected to reach into the mid 70's.
Tonight expect the low to dip down to the 30's.  :brr:

So here in San Angelo, snow is expected as early as tonight and will continue through tomorrow...San Antonio is expected to pick up snow as well , tomorrow will definitely be interesting

Yours is much more interesting than mine. I wish I had snow, especially when I lived near the mountains when I was little.

I just got a "special weather statement" from my local NWS saying that it's gonna be "colder than normal"... sooo I sense 30 degree temps??

Poor Paul is sick. Wonder if he is back tonight

I doubt he would be back...I assume he'll take the rest of the week off due to his sickness. More likely Todd will take over.

« on: December 03, 2009, 11:01:32 AM »
I am going to have a 4 week Winter Break, then on January 7, I will return back to college for a 5 week intersession known as Winter School. I'm gonna use this intersession to complete my graduation requirements faster.

Monday-Friday
10:00 - 12:10 Health Education

12:30 - 2:40 Modern Western Civilization
(Basically Modern World History)

I will post my Spring semester schedule soon...I am waiting for a particular class to open itself up so I can get the spot (meaning: Photoshop 101!!!  <_<)
Aren't you majoring in Journalism?  Are those classes required for an AA or AS degree (that is what you are doing right now, right, getting our AA or AS and moving to a university)

Yeah I am, but alongside working on your degree you also have to complete the college graduation requirements. (not to mention, I have to take PE next fall). I know for sure I am taking two classes that are required for my degree (Graphic Design and Intro to Journalism).
