Wow, we have yet another OCM laid off from TWC. Hope Kevin does well at his new job ahead.I don't think he's being laid off, he's leaving by choice.
According to this article, Kevin Robinson will be leaving TWC to be the chief meteorologist at WLWT in Cincinatti starting in January.

... RAIN IS EXPECTED MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT WITH SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL AMOUNTS EXPECTED IN PORTIONS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA...
A WET PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN UNITED STATES MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS DEVELOPING FROM SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA TO SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE HALF INCH OR GREATER ARE POSSIBLE FROM JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK EAST ACROSS RIVERSIDE COUNTY... LA PAZ COUNTY... AND SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA INCLUDING THE GREATER PHOENIX AREA.
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN THE UPSLOPE AREAS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN AND ISOLATED AMOUNTS OVER 2 INCHES POSSIBLE. SOME FLOODING OF LOW SPOTS AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES IS POSSIBLE.
SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO END FROM THE WEST IN SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHWEST ARIZONA INCLUDING EL CENTRO AND YUMA LATE MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY MORNING... AND SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA INCLUDING THE GREATER PHOENIX AREA TUESDAY.
SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO GENERALLY BE QUITE HIGH IN OUR AREA... ABOVE 65 HUNDRED OR 7 THOUSAND FEET WITH THIS STORM SYSTEM. THE SNOW LEVEL COULD BRIEFLY START OUT AT 45 HUNDRED FEET IN JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK LATE SUNDAY NIGHT... BUT THERE IS ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS THAT EARLY. ALSO... THE SNOW LEVEL IS EXPECTED TO DROP TO NEAR 5 THOUSAND FEET IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX TUESDAY. HOWEVER... THE SHOWERS WILL BE TAPERING OFF AT THAT TIME. AS A RESULT... LITTLE SNOW IS EXPECTED WITH LESS THAN AN INCH ACCUMULATION.
