In Illinois, PE is required each semester you attend, in order to graduate.  Health is put in place of PE during 10th grade.

So basically it is required for all of your HS career?

I had the Health (sex ed) final today and I think I failed it, lol. It wasn't anything I was interested in anyway. I'm sure I still passed the course since I had A's for both marking periods. Can't wait to start phys ed again next week!!

lol you WANT to do PE?! I always hated it!

It's more likely you'll land on a B, just a guess.

I had to take PE during second semester of my junior year...because I didn't take it sophomore year due health reasons. PE still counts as an elective course if you decide to take it again (depending on the school).

In other words, I hated PE with a passion, but it was an easy A though.

I hope everyone is doing alright with their exams this week.  I can tell that it's a busy time for most of you as things are really quiet here.

I hope so too.  I wish everyone luck on their midterms!
I have another huge history midterm this Thursday plus I have 8 more health tests to go through for the rest of Winter School. Speaking of Winter School, hard to believe there are 10 more days left.

I hate to sound sadistic and insensitive here (since I'm not like that), but I'm getting awfully tired of hearing about this. WAY too over-covered, imo. Haiti is not the only story out there...

Well, that's too bad. This is certainly a TOP story and not that overcovered since it's very sad and not something dumb like Michael Jackson's death. If you're tired of hearing about it, don't watch TV or stay off the computer.

I agree. My condolences go out to the families who lost their loved ones. Disrespecting something like this, is very ingrate

I have to agree...it pisses me off to see someone saying they're so tired of hearing about the earthquake. I ranted about this yesterday and I will continue to.

The death toll from the Haiti quake has now reached 150,000. This is terrible. How did so many people die from a mag 7.3 quake? The quake was not a 9.0 and did not produce a tsunami unlike the 2004 Indian Ocean catastrophe so I would've thought the death/damage would be a bit less. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Boy, this earthquake was the last thing that nation needed.

Very sad indeed. The reason why is that the buildings in Haiti were constructed well but were not earthquake resistant. It makes me cry though to see raw video and pictures on the news.

Not entirely sure if some of you heard of this, but according to this video a friend of mine posted, Youtube is planning on changing the website (again) .

NEW YouTube Video Watching Page Layout; A First look

They did the beta channels, now they're doing the video watching page. They also posted a blog about it as well. They are allowing you to "opt-in" if you decide to try it out, you can always click on "Return to the old YouTube" if you don't like it.

So....opinions? Like it or hate it?

For much that I don't like AccuWeather, I really like what they're doing to their site. It's much better than weather.com imo.

Oh man, Krishnan (LFMusicRocks) got his Youtube account suspended. Me ande Molly have told him to sign up for Dailymotion, but he never listened to us.
