General Discussion / Re: The Pot Belly Stove

Ana, what schools are you planning to transfer?

Im just happy that Im almost done with my meteorology degree and hopefully I will get upgraded in this forum to Patrick's status: meteorologist.

I'm going to finish my A.S degree in journalism here at IVC, (I'm also thinking of minoring in Computer Information Systems), and if all is possible, transfer to Northern Arizona to get a B.S. in Journalism there. I still have a long way, though, as this Spring I start getting my hands-on with my major.

Well, I havent been posting on here for long but so far school has been somewhat stressful because I did bad on my Diff EQ and Vector Calculus exam. However, I do have high hopes for the curve but now Im studying ahead so that I do well in the next midterm. How are ya guys? Lot's happened since I have posted here.

Hey Rod! Nice to see ya back! I'm doing very well, almost done with Winter School!

Is it me...or did Comcast boost up their internet speeds recently?

Here we have a 50/10 package, it's quite expensive but I love the speed, haha.

Ahh now I get it. I'm wondering about that because I've seen previous Comcast speeds that were between 10 and 20 mbps. I've never seen 50.

Since I posted my college's internet speed, here's the speed from my house.

...meh, I'm not complaining about that at all.

Vortex 2 will be named Vortex 3
Umm, where are you getting that information? The original Vortex project lasted for two years (1994-1995), and the Vortex2 project will last for two years (2009-2010).

Correct.

I'm also okay with the Youtube-linking-with-google thingy, I don't even log out of my Gmail on my computer anyways, unless I run a clean scan.

The only thing I like about the iPad is that it has its own ebook store. Maybe I can "go green" and read textbooks on there.

For other stuff, <3 my iPod touch. I can do anything with it.
