What I meant by "new sidebar" is the slight changes they made on there. I already knew it existed back then. The new features are nice (such as the wind speed). What bothers me is the small picture HD viewers are given to. To be honest I don't really see a need of the bottom bar with the 5-day forecast.

HD feed

Not showing up like this on my HD feed on DirecTV. Old heavy rain icon showing for forecast and cloudy icon for current conditions whatever the actual text says. Only change as shown by Martin is the radar with the city name displaying.

I basically have the same (without the HD of course). I don't expect a change to the direcTV LF soon.

And I feel super bad to those HD viewers who are cluttered by the new sidebar/L Bar. I think the picture is just too small.

This newer icon set's not too bad except for the sun ones, they look like cheeseballs. MMMM! Cheeseballs. Anyways, aren't they going in reverse with their icon set timeline? Shouldn't this newer set be the prototype ones?

It's gonna be interesting to see the graphics overhaul tomorrow. Now that I'm in the know, it won't feel like I was frozen in time for a dozen years. LOL!

You completely read my mind about the sun icon. lol

Maybe before the "end of the world" in Dec 2012?  lol

I doubt that.  :rofl2:

My small dilemma with these icons is that with my super improved vision, I can't tell which icons are rain and snow. But still, it doesn't bother me.

Come again?
Look at the icons on the sidebar...
I personally don't think they're that bad, seem like a combination of pre and post 2006 icons :)
And I do like the new titlebars as well

I don't see those new icons and the new titlebar a problem at all. I understand it is small, but it is still readable. I really like them.

Is anyone else having the issue with the scroll bar scrolling to the top of a long reply or PM every time you type a letter? It's incredibly annoying! :pinch:

Yes! I didn't say anything because I thought it was something with my computer.

I had that once, too.

Holy crap... Corey Haim died this morning in LA. He was just 38 years old.

Instead of my doctors appt, I was rushed to the hospital with a fever of 105 degrees. I thought it was exaggerating, but meh, my mom knows what to do. I didn't expect myself to be this sick. I thought it was just a plain cold. Right now, I am still the same, just that tomorrow (the day I present my graphic design logo) I will need to bundle up tight since it will be very windy. (when I'm sick, I feel like glass when it's windy outside).
Yikes!  I hope the hospital was able to determine if you have the flu or something else.  You should never go over 104°F as that becomes dangerous for your body, so your mom did the right thing.  I sure hope you get well soon.

Doctor said pharyngitis (sp?), a form of the sore throat. it's accompained by cough and high fever. Doctor said I should take today off as well, but I can't. I have to present my logo project today at school, and make up a quiz I missed yesterday. So, I'm putting back school on my to-do list instead of staying in bed.
Of course my mom did the right thing. , thanks again Patrick.

I'm so glad I don't have to take either of those.
I'm going to a trade school that doesn't require any of that stuff.
And, I'm not stepping one foot into a university. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

That's also a good decision, Tiffany. What are you planning on taking?

if i hear of one more delay im not recording... too many delays
but further delay would get on my nerves too.
You guys do realize that this is outside of Martin's control, right?

I agree. It's all about patience here. Besides, it wont affect my illness.
