It's not a surprise, I remember reading it in the press room awhile back.

what I meant by "surprise", is that TWC never announced it on air, iirc.

Anyone want to make an attempt at pronouncing this?

They didn't even spell it right.... it's Eyjafjallajökull, which is pronounced [ˈɛɪjaˌfjatlaˌjœkʏtl̥] according to wikipedia.

Oh, now THATS a bit easier to pronounce. Thanks Jesskitty. 

Well, if they pronounced Ana wrong (Ah-na instead of A-na), then I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with that.

Don't even get me started on that. My professors refuse to call me by that pronunciation (An-uh). "Because that's how you supposed to say your name!"

I wish my name wasn't too simple to write but irritating to pronounce.
