Hello from Hollywood, CA!  Right now I'm settling in at a Days Inn hotel, and unfortunatly they have Dish Network. so no IStar clips to record. Oh well, at least that's not why I'm here. I've relieved much of my stress on the road, and visiting my hometown earlier today brings back so many memories.  . I'll pop back up tonight to surf the interwebz. Hollywood is incredible!

I know it's a last minute notice, but I'm going to visit my hometown and HOLLYWOOD (!) this weekend instead of next week. My mom thinks we should get away for the weekend, not only because of what just happened to my older sister (I won't say since this is a personal matter), and the stress I've been having all week. I'll be able to pop up at times Saturday and Sunday. I just want to relieve all the stress I've been having with school and family issues.

We're all just waiting for summer. But at this point, due to an extensive list of personal issues, I don't know if I want to make the most of the time I have left in high school (questioning whether it's worth it or not), or just get through it.

Also, anyone up for some blossoming trees? I took this pic from my second story deck right next to my room

To be completely honest, the first thought that came to me when I saw this picture....... was snow.

It's hard to believe that he covered 12 hurricane seasons for TWC.  He posted a message on his FB today indicating that he enjoyed his time working at TWC and that he's extremely excited about his new opportunity with the NWS.  TWC and all of us fans will definitely miss him in the upcoming hurricane season.

Yeah, I saw it this morning. We all will miss him.

Here are my third quarter grades:

English: 77% (C)
Algebra 1: 102% (AA? )
Consumer Math: 90% (A)
World Cultures: 90% (A)
Music Appreciation: 87% (B )
PE: 100% (A)
Individual Studies: 99% (A)

Not bad, wish I could raise that English grade, though.

Wow, two math classes?
I could never go through that.

Some students go through two math classes, one regular class and one support class. I've been though the same in high school.

So, yesterday IVC went under evacuation because of a bomb threat (thankfully no bomb was found). Today I am back in school just to retrieve my English books that I left when the evacuation occurred. The somewhat fun part? Being escorted to the classroom by a dozen security guards. Security got pretty tight since yesterday.

Wow. After a very nasty stomach bug, it just feels so good to be able to eat, walk around again, etc. I forgot how bad it really was, so I guess, in a way, it was a good thing.

There's a lot of people on the forums this morning. Aren't y'all supposed to be in school? 

Ugh, I hate those stomach bugs. Glad you're feeling better.

And I had my Spring Break last week. It wasn't pretty.
