I don't know if it's just me because my internet's been having problems on and off today, but has there been a lot of "An Error Has Occurred" 's for anyone else on the forums today?

I've gotten a couple "Connection Problems" on here, but none of what you mentioned, Zach.

Well, I'm back home in WV really early as I already found and signed the contract to a nice 2-bedroom apartment in Blacksburg where the gas heat was even included in the rent.  I'll be making the official move sometime during the last ten days of June.
That's awesome, Patrick! Glad that you were able to find an apartment so quickly.
They were filling up fast from Virginia Tech students for this fall, so I had to be quick.  I'll be getting Comcast as it monopolizes the area, and satellite is too cumbersome due to restrictions with mounting the dishes in the complex.  Thankfully, Comcast gives a $20 discount for high-speed internet to everyone in the apartment complex I picked, so I'll learn to live with it even though no TWC HD exists there.

omghai Patrick!  Glad to see you're finally back, and finally found an apartment!

So I'm watching the series finale of Law and Order. Can't even begin to follow it, and the cast has changed drastically since the seasons that are syndicated on TNT. I'm hoping this means that SVU is not cancelled as well, but I doubt it.

SVU has been renewed for the 10-11 season. The original L&O is going to be replaced by another L&O that takes place in my favorite city: Los Angeles.

Is The Weather Cast on anywhere else?

Nope. it's gone. It's not on air anywhere.

Two good news that make me happy today:
I passed all the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) tests (writing, reading, math), which means I will be passing to 8th grade. Writing was very easy. The calculator help me pass math.
I got student of the month (the first time since December 2004). Now I don't need to be jealous of my friends (the one I usually hang out and got SOTM) anymore.

That's great, Felix!!!!! Congrats!

Miki has some claws there. She can climb up to the rooftop of my house using her super long claws. I am against declawing. It's just a matter of protection for the kitties, especially for Miki, who is actually an outsider. Serafina, my other kitty, she has been taught by her mommy (myself) to not scratch the furniture. She knows her scratching posts, and her non-scratching posts.

Also, today I presented my animated GIFs to class and looks like my class loved these two!
My Original Drawing: The Dancing Stick Figure! http://i45.tinypic.com/2hsbsyt.jpg

My Original Photos: Pikachu Vs. Bulbasaur http://i48.tinypic.com/2jh0t1.jpg

The third one, which was a promotional GIF, is about Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow coming to PS2 next week. It's in my blog.

Dang.. beat me to it.

This means..... The Weather Cast will no longer be available now that TWC has finally agreed with Dish.

Awwww, but the rivalry was just getting good!!!! Oh well.  :whistling:

Everything Else TWC / Re: Great Article in the NY Times

Wherever TWC is getting their ratings from is unreliable. Look at all the comments on TWC's facebook page! We're not the only people who are against movie night.

Cable networks need to stop worrying about ratings and $$$$ and focus more on what they are intended for. It's only 10,000 more viewers than how it was in 2008.
"we're not the only ones" meaning three to four separate people spamming the crap out of TWC's Facebook page to the point where normal people's legitimate questions get buried and unanswered. Face it... a lot of people are going WAY overboard with the whole 'omg movies suck. omg nbc sucks. RAWR' thing to the point where it's just annoying at this point. Redundant, I know, and I'm aware of free speech and the right to express our opinions, but a lot of people are going about it the wrong way to where it's not clear and concise... It's just spam. I am one who may not like their decision, and let's be honest, it's not all NBC's decision, if they even had an input. But, I don't go flooding/spamming TWC's Facebook page, spamming Mr. Darby's twitter about it. If you want your opinions heard, write an INTELLIGENT, clear ,concise, well written letter to TWC and mail it to them. I guarantee you ,they might actually read it. But don't go spamming across the internet thinking your point will get across, hurting legitimate questions from getting answered. Ratings or not, it's not YOUR network to run and make decisions about, it's theirs. If you don't like it, and don't wish to heed my advice above, then don't watch The Weather Channel. It's clear and simple.

There's my rant for the morning, and I hope it makes sense, as the constant whining gets old after a while. You may hate me, and that's fine, but it needed to be said.

Getting back on topic, I applaud TWC for trying to increase their user base ,to try and increase people's interest in weather. Not a lot of people are planning their weather days at night on the weekend, and the viewer base diminishes significantly ar night, so they want to try to broaden people's interest. In my honest opinion, it's a smart move. HOWEVER, I do have to agree. Severe weather should always come first ,and I have a feeling, TWC is aware.

I applaud the kitty for his excellent rant.

If you don't like it, don't watch/listen/read/ etc. Turn off the stupid TV. That's what I do. I'm also getting tired of the constant whining.

Severe weather is the obvious reason, but there has to be another.
Its this little thing called $$$$$

That's another obvious reason. :P

Dear Earth, why?  5.3 earthquake just 10 min ago here. It's really getting annoying. The only place that suffered minor damage is my room. I officially lost my mirrors, I lost 4 of them during the 7.2 quake and just lost the remaining last one. >_<

To be completely honest, to me it felt like a 6, but it's probably because I'm sleepy.

Google's creativity is at it again.  Anyone see the logo for Google today?  They are honoring the 30 year anniversary of PAC-MAN!  You actually can play packman within the logo, music and all!

omg I did! It's so much fun! Last score was 7010. :P
