Everything Else TWC / TWC heard on other shows

Have you ever watched a TV show or movie and heard/seen The Weather Channel? I did when I saw a 2000 rerun of ER/ In the beginning of an episode, I heard Bob Stokes doing rhe weather. He wasn't seen, though.

This game might have been done in 2006 for TWC's hyperbole coverage for alberto and ernesto, but it is inevitable TWC will push the red button to go into alert mode. What is your prediction?

I decided to start a general weather thread of my own. I will cover from the North Bay area, heading south to Salinas. Inland areas will be covered also. /Along with the weather conditions, I'll include marine conditions and tides. I will start with a text readout and eventually might post graphics.

3-Day Forecast I paraphrased the forecast summary
Napa Sunny skies. On Sunday, we expect a high of 84°, warming up to 89° on Monday. The heat wave will begin on Tuesday, getting as hot as 98°.
San Francisco Expect cloud cover to diminish on Sunday with a high of 74°. Things will warm up Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 80s.
Oakland Sunny. The high for Sunday will be 80°, warming to 87° on Monday, and touching the 90° mark on Tuesday.
San Jose 84° is the high for Sunday. The impending heat wave will increase highs to the lower 90s for the work week.
Santa Cruz On Sunday, a morning drizzle is forecasted with gradual clearing. High 81°. Sunny skies for Monday and Tuesday, with highs near 87° and 89°, respectively.
Watsonville Fog will clear around midday on Sunday, high of 77°. Expect sunshine for Monday and Tuesday. 82° is the high for Monday and Tuesday will be warmer with a high near 86°.
Hollister Sunday is the best of the three days for outdoor activity. 93° is the high for Sunday, The heat wave will be a menace for next week, with highs topping to the mid-100's.
Monterey Sunday and Monday start off foggy and cloudy, with clearing by lunchtime. Sunny and pleasant on Tueday. The high for Sunday is 61°, a bit cold this time of year. The high will warm up to the mid-60s on Mondays and mid-70s for Tuesday.
Salinas Cloudy and Foggy, then becoming generally sunny with a high near 75° for Sunday. Expect a warming trend, due to the heat wave on Monday and Tuesday, warming up to 89°.
Carmel Valley Sunny all three days. On Sunday, the high will be in the upper 80s, Monday will top out in the mid-90s and the heat will be a factor on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching the upper 90s

This is a message that is plastered on a not-so local channel:

"This channel is currently blacked out at the request of a broadcast system or cable provider or in accordance of FCC regulations?"

What does that mean? It either sounds tech-speak or corporate-speak.

Everything Else TWC / Severe Weather Music

Does it seem that the music used at the start of the tropical is update is nearly identical to the chime of the Severe Weather segment? Tropical has a more defined chime, but the 3-note chord and the music are straight out of Severe Weather. Does it seem so?
