Currently putting together a WS4000-style set of still/animated XL icons. Here's the first of many:

Another national forecast feed render with Delta once again, this time with two new products: Tropical Storm/Hurricane Projected Path and Severe Weather Warnings.

Still trying to work out the IR image loop, but I’ll get it smoothed out soon. I did try to give it a VHS-ish feel to it (and reduced the video quality to make it look more authentic).

Currently in the process of trying to figure out a more efficient method of implementing IR satellite imagery into the map. The northern part of the system is barely visible, so it won't be until Wednesday or Thursday when I can get better imagery.

I'm back! Just over the past three weeks I've rendered quite a handful of emulations:

Long time, no see! Been working on weather-related stuff every once and a while for the past few years, and I've just now been putting together some icons for the first time in five years.

A couple of unused/old icons from the XL V1 era:

"AM Fog/PM Clouds":

Version One of "Partly Cloudy"/"PM Clouds":

A custom icon for when snow squalls are forecasted:

Help and Support / "This program edition has expired."
« on: July 05, 2018, 01:52:01 AM »
Good day,

While trying to use the emulator, I was immediately prompted with a blank white screen that read, "This program edition has expired. Please obtain a new one in CINE," followed by two buttons that read "Enter My Key" and "Get My Key."

Upon clicking "Get My Key" and filling in my CINE login information, the page that was supposed to display my new key flashed for a fraction of a second before taking me back to the CINE login page. However, logging in again takes me to the configuration page instead of the key page. On the flipside, the "Enter My Key" page loads without issue.

While I am not the only one encountering this issue, it appears that no solution has been found yet (based on my own looking around, at the very least). I was also hoping to bring this issue to the Discord server as well, but the invitation link is expired.

I hope a solution to this issue will pop up soon.

Tried my best to replicate the second version of the national/satellite feed. Still wondering if I should create maps for the satellite loop.

I must say, you've done a fantastic job recreating that. (I'm almost positive that's the only recreation of that type of satellite forecast I've ever seen!)

Thank you! :)

I was intrigued by the design of the earlier satellite forecasts, and the second version was my first choice to emulate. I'm thinking of also emulating the first version too, with the first version of the stills of the WeatherSTAR XL icons and all.

Seems to be that I cannot embed two of my emulations.

How are you getting the rain to go over the city labels without totally blocking them out? I can't figure it out in After Effects.

The radar images for my emulations are put together in Photoshop, so I'm not necessarily sure if the same would apply to here.

What I do is copy the layer with the city names in it and put it above the radar layers and set it to "Overlay" with the shadow layer below it.
