Alright, thank you very much  :D  All the '08 holiday playlists that have been posted don't include this song, AFAIK.

Haha yeah this is what I've been doing - if I do find the vid with the respective music I'll post it.  :)

Hmm... all I can remember is a consistent sound of a thing being shaken, whatever those are called... you know, those circular dealies? I'm not sure if it's completely instrumentized (if it is, it doesn't sound like a usual instrument).

Nope, it's not either... agh, I wish I could be less vague! I appreciate all the help though!  :)

Sadly here I can't give you much help with the song, except I believe it was in last year's Christmas playlist but not in this year's. It starts out with a ten-tone thing and I think it's been a TWC mainstay for a while, but this is all I know... Any suggestions whatsoever? This is one of my favorite Christmastime songs.

Interesting. I rarely watch Weekend View because I sleep in (I believe it airs 6-8 am here) but I do remember watching it when it began airing, when Stephanie Abrams was part of the show. I've always wondered why TWC anchors move on to local stations (Jodi Saeland is the chief weatherperson at the FOX affiliate in Salt Lake City), I would assume TWC pays better than local stations  :dunno:

The black text... it's just tough to get used to it. I personally liked the blue text better  :(

Has anyone seen the thundersnow icons? Looks almost exactly like a thunderstorm on the LDL but when it's animated on the LF it's strange to see a thunderstorm cloud, lightning, and snow! I must say the old v1 icons that displayed on the Sat LF for a while a couple of weeks ago brought back memories though.

Everything Else TWC / Re: Is anyone else's TWC feed down?

I still have to commend the team at the Weather Channel for patching something together instead of displaying something else, such as a non-stop Sat. LF. I wonder how they got the equipment back up to make it work...

Everything Else TWC / Re: When did you first discover TWC?
« on: January 22, 2008, 08:40:06 PM »
I remember the first time I watched the Weather Channel I was fascinated with the v1 XL. It was Christmastime, foggy, and 10 degrees. The music was playing and I was enamored with the technology. TWC's peak I say would be during the '05 Hurricane season, where IMHO they delivered sincere and quality coverage. It started going downhill with the more seasoned OCMs going to odd timeslots and Ms. Dangly-Jewels replacing Jennifer Lopez on EE. The only good addition that has happened recently is A&B, but it's like saying it's got the highest ratings on the DuPont channel.
