This is all of them, the red mode is in the desert theme.

General Discussion / Re: Taiganet No More?

I know the site has gone down before, but usually pops back, would be a shame to see it discontinued.  Let's hope someone out there sees these posts and can offer more information.

General Emulator Discussion / Fixes to the Emulator/Simulator?
« on: February 17, 2022, 09:18:13 PM »
Just curious, I use the WeatherScan Emulator on my weather channel.  Lately, it seems there is less and less options working which if activated causes it to crash.  Are there any plans to fix issues with the radar, marine product, and airport products?  I am sure there are some of us that would like to help out if needed.  Just sad this project has gone on so long and is slowly being depreciated, let's keep it alive!

Just a side note, if you are having issues with it working, I can only use the Weather, Traffic, and Weather Windows options at this point, anything else it will crash on start-up.  Yes, it still works with some options enabled.

General Emulator Discussion / Packages / Pages Not Working Round-Up
« on: June 26, 2021, 05:54:26 PM »
Hello all, was hoping some of the current issues with the simulator will be fixed soon.
I been playing around with different settings, and did a list of current packages / pages that
are currently not working...I know some of these have already been addressed due some of the data sources being moved or taken offline ...

Local Forecast:
Radar pages not loading radar data, as noted before

Airports:
Seems to be working once again, guess it was fixed?  Although delay info usually shows as a number?

Traffic:
Crashes program, cannot use at all for past week or so, app returns mismatch error

Boat and Beach:
Sea Surface pages, first two not updating, third one (UV) seems ok though

Only other one I use currently is Weather Window which seems fine, so not sure about Outdoor Activity and some of the other packages.

General Emulator Discussion / Re: Is this still being supported?

I also follow a few other sites supporting these type of weather projects, it appears they fixed the radar issues either through something called mesonet or this site: https://mrms.ncep.noaa.gov/data/RIDGEII/L2/CONUS/CREF_RAW/
Not sure if it would be any help, but thought I would offer it.  Airports, I am guessing there has to be something out there as well.

General Emulator Discussion / Is this still being supported?
« on: May 06, 2021, 03:11:46 PM »
Hello all,  I have not used the WeatherScan sim in a while, and noticed there are a lot of things that are no longer working.  Is this project still being supported?  A few issues I noticed with radars and airports sections, radar just shows up blank when there is storms in area, then if you select airports section, it just crashes the program.  Anyhow, I hope this is still being support, it has so much potential.

Here are a couple updated slide backgrounds, realizing not everyone lives in the same area as I do, this so far includes the airport conditions graphic and the marine update graphic (bridge removed from slide).

Since we just finally had a weather bulletin recently, I realized there was a slide that was off with the actual text on the screen, that being the one I have attached below should fix the problem.  Also if anyone wants some blank slides the replace certain ones that may not match up with their area just let me know.

Here is the blank page, if you want a header it is aerial font that was used.

Sorry for the late reply to everyone, anyway here is the zip file, simply replace the files in the folders with the corresponding ones in the directory folders.  Be sure to back up the originals if you decide to get back to the original look.  The only section I did not do is the Outdoor Activity, since I really do not use it. Use the customize theme in wx-cine for the blue, and desert theme for the red (bad weather theme), note the red backgrounds are only for certain screens in the local forecast that are changeable within theme selection.

This is great!  I have actually been looking for more options lately and this works perfectly.   Is there an ability yet to be able to customize the scroll and still have warnings/watches come through?  Just curious.  Wish there was a Roku app like this, 'local now' is the only option that is not even close to this.  Guess I will be investing in a Fire TV Stick!
