Holy shit... That's all I really have to say *drops jaw*

Are they good or bad? I don't find them accurate enough with colors as I was going from a LQ video on YouTube. :(

I'm starting this a bit late, but I want to see where you think a storm might be dropping a tornado, etc in this event. I've attached my forecast on a storm near Harper, KS.

Update! Since Weather Center finally premiered, I'm working on the L3rds. I have the W, but not the snip box or circles around the W. They should be out by tonight, or if I become lazy, tomorrow afternoon.

Papa John's.

Weather Center (2009) or Weather Center (pre-2009)?

Banned for agreeing too much even though I agree.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Major schedule changes on the way
« on: March 03, 2009, 01:44:16 PM »
I wouldn't be surprised if these segments phase out over the next year or so. Look at what happened to Weekend View - that started falling apart after Stephanie left. A&B also started going downhill in early 2008 when they got rid of many segments such as the Audience Barometer, etc. First Outlook also had a lot of individuality (including it's own professional set!) but a lot of its special features were gone not long before the HD relaunch. It was even more unique before 2003. Same with Weekend Now. The list goes on...

It seems that a show always starts out great and unique, but then it just starts falling apart. Go figure.
I agree....don't forget Your Weather Today....the may not have had many "special" segments but that individual feeling is gone

How so? The show really hasn't changed much since its inception....

Agreed. The only changes I've ever really noticed were just graphics on occasion.

Just a reminder that Daylight Savings Time begins at 2AM this Sunday. Don't forget to set those clocks FORWARD one hour!  B)

Come on, please don't remind me of the horrible migraines I get when we "spring" forward. <_<

I agree that the logos look great.  Can't have a fancy site without fancy graphics!
Agreed.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Re: Wiki?
« on: March 01, 2009, 05:17:44 PM »
Your beautiful child was already birthed by Matt at TWCC. They're supposed to make a Wiki for TWCC, so I'm not sure I want to do that. I'm trying to keep TWCT as individualized as possible. I don't want it to seem like a clone of TWCC.

Ah. Never saw that...sorry. I'll just make a fan-type wiki for TWC, not branded by TWC Today.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Wiki?
« on: March 01, 2009, 05:08:30 PM »
I've been a wiki user since ~2005, and my brain just had a beautiful child.

The TWC Today Wiki.

A lot of people will likely be resistant to this because anyone can edit a wiki. Not always. If you change a quick few lines of code, you can restrict editing like (*snaps*) that.

I think it'd be worth a try on a different, unrelated site for now and then exporting it here if it works. I have MediaWiki in mind (I'm an expert at setting it up), but does anyone have any other wiki software ideas?

Thanks! I'll see if I can use a free subdomain to get started.

Speaking of which, what the hell is this "Jon and Kate plus 8" f-ing bullshit? Who the fuck cares?

It's really just their daily lives and mostly Jon and Kate fighting. Entertaining.

Congrats (if it's true) to her.

"Who's the guy? I will wish him congratulations personally." :club:

Quote from THAT thing >>
I'm surprised you don't know about the Bob Stoke sexual harassment ordeal with Hillary Andrews.

Oh, I know far well. Just assuming Jen would be with Bob in a faraway world. It would be bad. Really, really bad.

Alexandra sounded sick this morning on the West Coast edition. She sounded congested. Badly.

Yes, I was up at 2:00 local time saying: "Hey, she sounds...different."

I'm a night owl. When I get up, 50% of the time I'm ready to take a gun to my alarm clock.
