Hey! I created a little program I thought some of us could find useful...a Severe Weather Tweet Creator. It's a simple program that lets you fill in what warning type it is, what time it expires, and what county it's in effect for. Then you hit "Tweet it!" and it will combine all the info into a small sentence. Then, just copy and paste into Twitter.

Of course, this is the first time I've released this, so it is in beta. If you have ANY issues, please reply here to tell me. If you want the source code so you can make a program like this, I would be more than happy to hand it over. It's a mere 35 lines and is in Visual Basic 2008. Enjoy!

NOTE: This version is outdated. Do not download this version. It is kept strictly for historical purposes and will be removed October 31, 2009.

Kyle, I am so sorry you lost your job. :(

I hope you find a job somewhere you like! I don't really have any area suggestions, sorry.

Sorry for double posting...but I have another. A locally-owned Chinese buffet was closed (was under new ownership for a few months, then closed suddenly) and converted to a locally-owned floral shop. :pinch:

IMO who gives a rip about the heat...the kids are inside >90% of their school day anyway >_>

That's whats I think, Jonathan. Heat should really have nothing to do with when school starts.

What about most of the students who have to walk home during the peak of the heat? I hate to keep bringing up the heatwave in August 2007 but it was hell having to walk home when it was 105° outside that whole first week I went back that year. Having a heavy backpack didn't make it any better. I couldn't take the bus or the train since it's halfway between my house and school that wouldn't make any sense. and nobody in my family drives anymore except my sister who's at work when I get out of school. Like Molly said it would better to go in September when it's cooler like in the 70's and low 80's.

It's called water and cool clothes. >_>

That still doesn't help me, I easily get more sick in hot weather than I do in cold weather, maybe you like feeling like your body is on fire during the summer, but I don'thaving serious migranes that feel like hangovers and being nauseated constantly. You smart attitude wasn't needed I'm not in the mood today. <_<

Ever consider I get migraines too? I do...every month or so. And I am NOT getting into drama. And today, I am not in the mood for much anything at all, much less this. <_<
