I was woken up earlier this morning by a HUGE thunderstorm. Definitely the first thunderstorm of the year to me. I think some of the lightning bolts struck nearby because they were much louder than usual and the winds were very strong too.

You'll know it's nearby when the lightning makes a cracking noise before thunder (instead of just thunder), AND when you want to hide when you hear the cracking noise, AND your router dies. Been there, done that.

I like this idea! Just like over at Eastern US Wx Forums. Question...do you have to have such detailed obs, or can you just include basic info? Just wondering.

He already answered that in the first post. He wants to include an icon, the current conditions, temperature, and wind.

EDIT: Filedropper failed on me. I give up for today...I'll try again tomorrow. If it doesn't work tomorrow, then consider me out of this LAT48s.

EDIT 2: Attempting YouTube upload. I won't waste my time with Filedropper for now.

It's currently up right now. You know.. I have been pondering why nobody has decided to create a theme that looks like TWC's VIZ graphics for the emulator..

I did play around with that but I ended up losing the graphics. :\

I'm able to participate but the best I can do is my new digital camera with likely quiet audio...that's the way it's been with other recordings.

I understand why you all hate the sun icon, but stop hating on the precipitation icons! I always had trouble discerning what  would happen on days when the temperature was near freezing. Now I can easily tell...this is rain, this is snow, and so on. Sure, the 2006-2010 icons were more realistic, but they were very hard to see in SD. Not all of us had HD, super-clear precipitation icons.

I see we've been talking about tests and their scores.

The only "big kid" (haha?) test I have taken is the ACT, last February. I got a 23 composite...my highest was in comm arts. I think I got a 29.
