« on: April 11, 2010, 05:09:29 PM »Recently, I have come up with 3 HD local forecast concepts. I have decided to move forward with the third one, and create an entire animated LF out of that design. What do you think (about any of the concepts)? There will be no LDL.
#2 is my favorite but it'd be better if it weren't so crowded. I disagree with the font choices in #3.

The mentioning of possible record highs or lows now shows up in the area forecast discussion instead of the text forecasts. I suspect that the wording of the wind chill and heat index values was taken out to prevent confusion with the actual high and low temperature forecasts.
They still do the "Heat index values could reach 100 to 105 degrees" and "Wind chill values may fall to minus 5 to minus 10 degrees" or something similar here. I remember seeing both last year.

« on: April 03, 2010, 10:23:00 PM »Who put the TWCC logo on the right? I think that looks a lot better as opposed to the "TWCT & TWCC" logo.It was a test me and Martin tried out, and I honestly think it looks too weird.
I LOOOOOOOVE it on the right. Both the "combined" logos are cramped or too big. IMO, this will be just right, if the TWCC logo was a bit bigger.

I can easily reverse them; however, this adds more realism (that's the best word I could think of) to the badges. I think I'd like to take a vote. I'll do that in a thread elsewhere.

A few more tweaks to make it almost as realistic as possible (I changed the subtitlebars' direction). This is (hopefully) the final set of changes...all batch exported into individual files. Thanks for the comments and compliments...they mean a lot to me! Please tell me if you have *any* issues with these. Thanks!
