AT 941 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS NEAR MICCOSUKEE RESORT...MOVING EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.

THIS STORM WILL AFFECT...

WESTWOOD LAKES... SWEETWATER... DORAL... HIALEAH... LITTLE HAITI... BISCAYNE PARK...

AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.

FREQUENT TO EXCESSIVE LIGHTNING... GUSTY WINDS TO 40 MPH...PEA-SIZED HAIL...TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS...OR A COMBINATION OF THESE ARE POSSIBLE. LIGHTNING IS THE NUMBER ONE WEATHER RELATED KILLER IN FLORIDA. TREES AND OPEN SHELTERS OFFER NO PROTECTION. At the start of the 8 PM ET Hour of A&B on June 2, 2008; at the beginning of the show, mike said "Check your local..Uh..Dealer" then later he said "Dealer?...Guess it has to do something by car", then he said it normal, "Check your local listings"
