General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch

well. i've officially decided to change my major. i've had my heart set to getting a degree in meteorology, but it doesn't seem like it will happen...sadly as it is, i decided to not proceed a major in atmospheric science/meteorology after all, but rather broadcast journalism, and possibly minor in atmospheric science/meteorology instead. i have a lot of universities in mind that i researched tonight, just in texas alone. i'm quite excited for my senior year...which starts in...

OMG six weeks! (of course i consider myself a senior after the graduation of the class of 2008) :P, then summer. but wow it's really scary, for me at least, but yet kinda exciting at the same time.

i dunno about you guys also graduating in '09, but i'm ready to get the hell outta my high school. hahaha.

of course - i'm going to have a really hard time letting go this year senior friends, i've grown so close to them...they know stuff about me that i simply can't talk to anyone else about. it leaves me with so many questions...what's going to happen to our friendship? Will it fade way? Or possibly end right after graduation? If not, will it last?

MySpace has networks too, do they not?

nope. facebook categorizes their networks by your school. say one of my friends is from a school in SAISD, and I go to a school in AHISD, we both have facebook...he can't view my profile because i'm in the AHISD Network, and same vice-versa. unless he added me on facebook of course.

if that makes sense. hahaha

i find it useful it stay in touch with friends you no longer see on a daily bases, whether they graduated, moved etc.

then again, thats what we have cell phones and text messaging for, i guess.

without a doubt, facebook.

mainly because a lot of my friends use it, and nobody here uses myspace. its kinda weird, and probably just a heights thing. haha. but i love the less ads on facebook, and some of the applications are actually fun/kool.

Honestly, who gives a flying **** about past TWC content?

People who actually recognize the original intention of the channel, that's who.

remind me again...who is actually old enough to remember the classical twc.

not I, or half the members on here. ;)

Me, Matt, Layne, Nick, Gary, tpirfan, Chazz, Billy, etc. etc. etc.  I know it sounds astonishing, but there was a world before your time *gasp*

Note, he said here.  I'm sure he knows that there are some out there, just not here.

thank you, kyle. at least some people read the whole damn post.

I know, yet another failure on the programming director's part. Since they already committed to airing long-form tonight, they have to stick with it no matter what unless the programming director (who obviously doesn't care to step up when it's needed) changes his/her mind.
It's the traffic coordinator.

what the hell is this, the traffic channel?!  :P jk.

it annoys me that the traffic coordinator is that retarded.

woot. tomorrow is technically friday for me! hahaha. because friday I'll be ABXed (absent, but excused - extracurricular activity)...AH Mixed (SATB) Varsity Chorale, AH (SA) Varsity Chorale, and AH Junior Varsity Girls Choir is going to UIL Competition on Friday from 10am through 6pm in San Marcos...should be fun, like always.

then in a couple of weeks we are heading to Port Aransas, TX for some fun in the sun, we'll be staying in condos that are pretty badass. :sunglasses: but thats like May 2nd. hahaha oh well.
